    Outstanding monitor... AFTER calibration

Bottom line up front: This monitor has terrible color over saturation out of the box. BUT it can be fixed! Let's get the cons out of the way: - Over saturation: Reds have a bright radioactive hue to them that washes out detail, skin tones are colored red like someone is blushing or has a sun burn. This gives the colors a noticably unnatural look overall. Pros: - The color over saturation may not bother you. But it can be fixed if it does. First go to preset modes in settings and change to custom color. Set the gain to R: 91, G: 87, B: 100. Response time: Super Fast. Brightness: 86, Contrast 75. See if you like those settings. If colors still seem saturated download "novideo_srgb" from GitHub via a Google search. Install the application and activate the "Clamped" seeing. This will clamp the colors the sRGB, which pretty much everything uses. This should significantly tame the over saturation. - Ergonomics on this monitor are great. Height, tilt, swivel, settings adjustments are all a breeze. The power button is a nice stealthy placement under the front right bezel. - Performance is great in everything I have thrown at it, games, home office use as remote work primary monitor. Overall this monitor is pretty hard to beat once you get it configured properly.

Good overall monitor with a nice professional look at the front and game in the back. The back strip lights up blue, which I wish you could change the color on. The bottom left corner has a haze to it which comes from the viewing angles, but is visible in most angles depending on whats on screen. It is not as bad as the image shows, but its similar. Some times the monitor gets stuck and wont turn back on when the computer gets turned on and requires fully pulling the power to get it fixed.

Traded my LG 27GL83A-B for this. With this Dell, colors are much deeper and pop off screen. Power and control buttons are in better locations. My office is actually in basement. Now, im a new dog owner and wanted to work upstairs in various spots on main floor. I mounted this device to a small wheeled desk. Monitor has a built in power supply so there isnt a external power brick to get in the way. Weight is under 10 pounds which aids mobility. Back of Dell monitor looks more pleasing and business like than LG. Wife didn't like red gamer look of LG when im sitting on chairs or couches around house.

Incredible monitor. Easy set up and runs flawlessly with the series x. 1440p @120fps is a compete game changer. Warzone/Call of duty is my main fps and the combination of next gen and this monitor has greatly improved my play. Sleek looking base/stand that doesnt take up much room. Very clean monitor. Highly recommend.

    Excellent Gaming Monitor

This monitor is incredible. Beautiful colors, relatively sharp screen, lots of screen room, and it's sssssooooooo easy to set up!!! No extra tools or equipment outside of what is provided in this box is necessary! That's the best part about this product. I highly recommend it! My only small pet peeve is that there isn't a "locked" position in any of the modes of adjusting the screen position. In other words, you can rotate the screen, but there's no position where the screen will "lock" so that you know you are leveled horizontally, if that makes sense.

    Do NOT order "open box"

I made the mistake of purchasing an "open box excellent" version of this monitor from Best Buy, only to receive a 60Hz Dell U2717D with a manufacture date of four years ago. I'm normally a huge fan of Best Buy, but they obviously do NOT check their open box items at all, because the monitor I received looks nothing like the picture on the box of the S2721DGF. Sadly, someone hoodwinked Best Buy when returning this to the store as a "2721DGF" and kept the real product. Even worse, Best Buy's customer support was difficult to understand and refused to send a UPS truck to pick up this item, so I have to drive an hour to and from a Best Buy store to return this deceitful product. Never again will I purchase anything but a "new" product from Best Buy...tried to save a few bucks, which ended up costing me plenty in gas and stress. To top it off, the monitor is no longer at the "limited time deal" price, so I'm out even more money. I also own a legit 2721DGF monitor I purchased from Best Buy previously and have absolutely no issues with it (hence my rating). It's a decently fast monitor with an easy-to-use interface and USB hub for peripherals. I do wish it had a cover on the back of the monitor to help with unsightly cables.

There's a lot to like about this monitor. It's fast (165hz), it's clear and near 4k quality (1440p), it is HDR capable, and it's based off an LG panel in the 800GN series I believe, but the Dell routinely sells for cheaper. The downfalls are it's IPS, edge lit, and the buttons are mushy feeling. I also don't like the edge lit glow. I ended up wit a QN90B 43 inch after trying a couple others like the Lg 32GQ950B and the Aorus FV43U, but neither of those were worth the price. One was too gray, the other was terrible in the HDR department. The Samsung is my Goldilocks. PS, these gun builds are dated, don't try them lol! This Dell is still a great monitor if the size suits you and you don't mind a little glow and only decent blacks.

This monitor is well built with extremely thin bezels on all sides. I believe it uses LGs ips panel. I absolutely love it. Colors are good out of the box but i would recommend to change the picture settings a bit for gaming. I would recommend this monitor to anyone in the market looking for a 165hz 1440p IPS panel. Better construction then LG.

I wanted to get this one specifically because of IPS 1440p resolution with G SYNC compatibility to pair with my RTX graphic card. It was recommended by hardware unboxed monitor review as mid tire best monitor even replacing LG GP27850 at one time. When it was on sale I got it for $300 and it’s quite impressive till now and I’m happy with it. It’s perfect for gaming and all the home and office use.

I got this monitor from a open box that was obliterated, i was very skeptical of how good of a condition it would be. turned out to be an amazing purchase. I got the monitor 50% for a couple scratches on the back that is cosmetic response time is about 3ish ms and stays true to 165 hz very glad i made the purchase

good brightness, easy setup and no drivers issues with windows 11. I am using it on a dual monitor stand via vesa mount, it is a bit tricky to mount due to the recessed nature of the vesa mount point. with the stand it is much easier to setup. I dont play a lot of games but the few that i have tried so far look excellent.
