I bought the previous model (S2719DGF) of this monitor about a year ago, which has been my main monitor for work and PC gaming. Bought the new version while it went on sale, and I've noticed the upgrades immediately. The new model has more accurate color, and the blacks are maybe the biggest improvement. I noticed in game my FPS had a nice boost. Using Modern Warfare multiplayer as my test game, on the old model my FPS would top out at 155, and on the new model I was hitting the low 180s. The new design has a sturdier base, thinner side and top bezels, and stands 1 cm higher. The LED on the back is subtle, and I honestly don't notice it. I like the overall design, because it doesn't scream gaming monitor, so I think this strikes the right balance between a work/play monitor like it's predecessor. The ergonomics are pretty much identical on both monitors, which are good, but I wished Dell would have increase the max height by about 2-3". I'm 6'2" and my eyes are pretty much align with the top, so I have to elevate the monitor, otherwise I'll have to look down. I think the only change I'm not fond of are the controls being moved from the base on the old model to the back, but the toggle is an improvement. Overall, I think this is a really solid upgrade, and I get why this remains so popular and well praised. I think for the vast majority of gamers out there this will fit your needs. If you're a competitive FPS player looking for every advantage you might benefit from a 240hz monitor, but you'll need the hardware to push it. Before I bought this monitor I tried the LG 27GN950-B 4k 144hz, and even with my 3080 I was left thinking we're still maybe a couple of years from proper 4k gaming and decided to return it. That monitor is best left to content creators, and anyone who needs color accuracy. Dell did a solid job with this new model, and I still think the previous model is a great option as well. I'm happy to have both on my desk.

Definitely worth the price I want a second to match it now. 1440p makes a huge differnce in games.

Bought this mainly for gaming. Love everything about and the price was awesome.

I have had this monitor for close to a year, and I am in love with it. The first two I got were duds, but that was due to damage from shipping, third time's the charm, am I right? Regardless, its smooth, great contrast, high refresh rate, what else could you possibly want? Do yourself a favor and get this monitor, or the LG alternative. Dell has better quality control on panels in my opinion. Tip: DO NOT SHIP TO YOUR HOME, SHIP TO BEST BUY OR PICK ONE UP IN STORE.

Good resolution and features for the price. The menu system is not great. Dont like that the buttons are on the back of the screen.

Watch out now! This monitor is a banger, Beautiful colors, 165hz with zero ghosting.. 2k ressy..the only only problem is now I see myself get owned in crystal clear clarity.. GGs though I highly recommend this monitor. I went from a 4K 32 Samsung 60hz :( to this Dell 27 and would do it again. Can’t be happier (also looks great on excel and work stuff)

This monitor was a breeze to set up. Was hesitant due to price, but caught it on a sale. Have dealt with many monitors. This one is very high end. Use it for both PC gaming and on my Xbox Series X. The frame rates on both are absolutely game changing. So smooth, great color and very bright. A lot of adjustments can be made. Do not regret at all. Monitor was more than I expected even after all the research.

Monitor so nice I bought it twice! Once you go 1440p, you’ll never look at 1080p the same and this monitor is a great way into it. Great colors that really pop. Very noticeable when coming from a TN panel. No the deepest blacks but definitely better than what I had previously. Makes productivity and gaming a joy. The only downside is there aren’t more youtube videos in 1440p. Definitely worth the money if you can buy it on sale.

a very good monitor for the value. I bought it before prices went crazy, so the value is very good. It came with all the cords I needed and works with G-sync no problem. Easy to set up and just use. I really enjoy the extra USB ports for my laptop and desktop with this monitor and playing any game look amazing. I'll keep buying Dell monitors as they have always proven to be good long lasting devices.

Really good for the price. I had no dead pixels and little to no backlight bleed. Great colors and brightness. Great viewing angles as expected for an IPS display.

Display is 10/10 would recommend the upgrade from 1080p to 1440p it is a well rounded monitor for a good price
