This monitor is pretty nice. A large, clear bright screen. Easy to startup/setup. Video played well and all my work apps show up just fine. Only issue is when I connected it to my laptop as a 2nd screen it defaulted to '...Dell Monitor speakers ...' The only problem w/ this is the monitor doesn't have internal speakers. It took me a while to figure out why my sound cut out from my laptop but was easy to figure out w/ Windows 10 volume controls. I received an answer from Dell customer service. The monitor supports audio out for external speakers or headphones but does not have internal speakers. HDMI plug and play pretty much. This monitor is easy enough to setup/use as a primary for desktop/laptop, or 2nd/,,, for same. I usually use two external monitors w/ my laptop screen closed (I mean 3 is just crazy right?). I do not have external speakers to test out so I just switched the laptop back to it's speakers for now. If you run into this issue when you purchase, just go to the volume in your system tray and there should be a toggle above the volume adj that you can switch from your computer to the monitor or back. Overall great monitor, I just wish it would not default to the monitor speakers if there are none

Never again. I purchased a supposedy excellent condition open box. It was my first and last time to purchase an open box from Bestbuy. Not only it was not in excellent condition, It’s condition wasn’t even close to fair. several major screws were missing, there was a crack at the bottom of the monitor, its base was dirty and filthy, and it wasn’t come in the original box to be considered as open box!!! It was wrapped with bubble wrap in a moving box. I’m so frustrated

Nope nope nope nope nope. Picture is ugly. I just wanted a cheap monitor to get me by for a month or two. Couldn’t even stand to look at it.

In the box is an installation disc, a back plate and mounting base, an extension leg for the base and of course the monitor. Attaching the base takes all of 2 minutes; it has a built-in base screw and sliding connection bracket that makes setup super simple and easy. It also comes with a power cord d-shaped and an HDMI cord which looks to be about 3 meters long. This is a plug and play monitor; all you have to do is hook it up to your HDMI port of your PC, gaming system or laptop and the monitor detects and turns on. Inside the menu you'll find some color settings nothing too super fancy but everything you should need to get the right picture quality that you need. Some of the settings include gaming, warm, movie, power save, and the blue light reduction setting for extended periods of time in front of the monitor. This is great especially if you spend as much time in front of monitor as I do anywhere from 3 hours to sometimes a total of 8 hours. I spent a full week testing this monitor for refresh rate accuracy and latency and I couldn't find any. I own a laptop with a AMD processor in G-Sync built-in and while playing my games on my PC I thought the color on the monitor itself was much better than the built-in monitor that came with my laptop. It was crisper and sharper than my original equipment. Blacks were deep and defined making for Crispy lines. A few features missing are the ability to raise and lower the monitor; it's in a fixed position but you do have the tilt feature. You can also rotate this monitor a few degrees left and right but some of us in the coding world would love to be able to raise the monitor and turn to monitor 180°; so that you have more work surface. The design alone of this monitor is very impressive. The bezel is almost non-existent so you get the most surface area possible without the Dell logo at the bottom. I'm actually seriously thinking about picking up a second one to add more workspace to my workstation. I would highly recommend this monitor to friends and family.
