When playing in a dark room you will get a white glow to it. Or, if you are in a dark setting in the game, which is slightly annoying.

I don't need glasses with this monitor, which is awesome. The size is perfect and the adjustable swivel stand is very nice, too. Using it at native resolution. If I set it above 60 Hz, it makes a whining sound. Not loud, but I can't help but notice and be irritated by it in my quiet office space. Otherwise, it's a pretty sweet monitor. If you plan to use it at a higher frequency, I'd wait for Dell to fix this problem. I believe they've had this issue with other models.
