Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i tried everything and googled everything i could to fix the resolution and image quality, yet it still looked... well sad really, like a really old computer from middle school years. not worth it for the price. also i could not figure out how to use the USB ports in the back to connect it to my keyboard and wired mouse so i gave up and went back to my tiny monitor from 2010. Samsung had a better looking picture, but their monitor was more expensive and did not have the USB ports (that i could not figure out how to use).

Also, HDR color can look off on games. Desktop HDR is recommended for the best color.

Love that it tilts and moves up and down as a lot of monitors are fixed and only tilt. My only complaint is that is will change HDMI inputs on its own! I have my CPU plugged into one HDMI port, and my camera server plugged into the other HDMI port. I'll leave the room for 5 minutes and when I come back the HDMI input changes from input 1 to input 2 all on it's own! It doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes it happens several times a day. Very annoying.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We are happy to hear you are enjoying you S-Series monitor by most accounts. In regards to your concern with inputs switching, we would be more than happy to help. Our monitors come with power-saving features enabled by default. If your PC is inactive for a short time, the monitor will power off to save energy. In your case, having the camera system sending a signal means that the monitor will switch inputs instead.
You can easily remedy this by disabling 'Auto-Select' within the OSD menu of the monitor. If you have any other questions, you are more than welcome to contact Dell Support at 1-800-264-9896.
