Customers are saying
Customers are satisfied with the S3220DGF monitor's screen size, refresh rate, and resolution, frequently praising its suitability for gaming and work. Many appreciate the monitor's quality, HDR capabilities, and FreeSync technology, although some noted the absence of built-in speakers and the monitor's weight as drawbacks. A few users reported issues with dead pixels or ghosting, but these concerns were less prevalent than positive feedback. The curved screen is also a feature that many users enjoyed.

Zero GSYNC issues/flicker once you tweak some sett
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Alright, I've put in over 40 hours of testing games, videos, applications throughout the week to see what the fuss is about with using Nvidia cards with this. Apparently, black flickering does occur at times. Well, I'm here to say that was true on my end..... HOWEVER! All you need to do is to change the Freesync Range using a custom application (Custom Resolutuon Utility is all you need) or CRU for short. Simply look online for the recommended ranges and how to's and play with it for a while. Bam, zero flickering. A simple 2 to 3 minute fix and I've gone hours without flickering. The basis of it is that this monitors default freesync range is FAR lower than what we're all buying this monitor for - 165 max frames. The curve adds a much welcomed immersion to gaming and I'd say the panel is definitely suitable for even videos too. The response is fine for such a big monitor that I highly doubt you'll see a noticeable delay when coming from a smaller and faster monitor. Blacks are good and light bleed is minimal. I mean seriously, are some of us really taking a magnifying glass to each pixel of a monitor to see any defects? Lol. All in all, very happy with this monitor and knew exactly what to look for and fix in regards to any and all screen flickering while in game or in apps. Also to note, the mount it comes with is top notch quality. Being able to swivel on the go, raise and lower with minimal effort and staying sturdy is a seriously nice touch. Well worth the money. Get it!

WoW.... Amazing Size and Quality for the Pirce!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hesitant in switching from ASUS monitors which is the brand I would always use for years. Though when I came across this Dell at 32" and 144hz at the price of $449 I thought I'd give it a try. I upgraded from a 27", so this is my first 32" screen and I instantly loved it. I can't imagine ever going back down to a smaller screen. The only game I play is World of Warcraft and with this curved 32" screen you really do feel immersed into the world. No cons at all. Built very durable and sturdy! This is a WINNER!

Ps5 monitor recommended
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gambled on buying this monitor for my ps5 after searching YouTube and twitter/google for best monitor for ps5 being that hdmi 2.1 monitors don’t exist on the market right now and even tho it says 165 hz some monitors still won’t play on 120hz for some reason but this one lowers the frames for the ps5 so you can play 120hz and still get 4K graphics when playing 60hz games . Only cons is color pallet and no built in speakers but I forgot last time I owned a monitor I had to plug in speakers separately so real only downfall is colors not popping as much as you’d think they would

Buy it if it's on sale
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good monitor. Super hefty. Gets reasonably bright, but the HDR isn't worth turning on because it's barely even noticable.

HAD to buy a 2nd!!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've only had these monitors a few days now. So far, so very good. I had been looking for monitors for a few months. I did my research. Maybe too much research. Go with (2) 34"? Go with (1) 34" and (2) 25-27"s in portrait? Bad reviews of a big monitor manufacturer, mixed reviews of another monitor giant. I finally decided to go with a 2k instead of 4k and decided I would give Dell a shot. Thus far, I haven't been disappointed. I bought 1 of these Dell monitors, got it home and hooked up, and after about an hour, HAD to have another. My decision was made. I did have to build a custom desk to hold my PC, these 2 monitors, and my network rack. But it was all worth it in the end. I spent a LOT of money on my PC. I wanted something worthy. And I got 2. PC: ThermalTake View91 RGB Asus ROG Extreme Omega LGA2066 mobo (watercooled) Intel i9-9900x (OC'ed and watercooled) 128GB G.Skill 3733Mhz RAM (watercooled) EVGA RTX2080Ti XC Ultra (watercooled) Corsair AX1600i PSU Samsung Pro970 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD (Fedora31 and SELinux) Samsung Pro970 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD (Windows10PRO = Garbage OS but unfortunately necessary for gaming) 3 Seagate EXOS 10TB HDDs (RAID5) 2 of these Dell 32" Curved monitors 1 custom water cooling loop for the mobo & CPU 1 custom water cooling loop for the RAM and GPU

This thing is beautiful
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow! I’m currently building a new pc and was in search of a new gaming monitor for the past few weeks since I’m upgrading all my components. Was looking for a 30+ Curved 2k screen and 144hz or higher refresh rate with Freesync. (This one has Freesync 2.0, even better) went into bestbuy and seen this beast on display and fell in love. I was going to buy a comparable Msi or Asus model and completely overlooked the dell because I didn’t think they could make such a great gaming monitor. Man was I wrong, this checks all the boxes. It’s absolutely beautiful. It’s a killer price for everything it offers and Best Buy has the best deal on it when I purchased it. Glad I got this one, now I need a bigger desk!

Black Screen Flicker (Gaming)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Note: The monitor is absolutely fine for work or desktop use, my review is specifically on it's capability for gaming. I purchased this Dell screen because I have a Dell monitor I purchased a couple years back and that one had worked perfectly. This screen would have been an upgrade with added HDR and 32" vs. my current 24" monitor. However, there is an issue with FreeSync/G-Sync on this monitor. Having it enabled while running a game causes the screen to temporarily, but consistently lose the connection. Every minute or two, the screen will go black, a message will come up that it's lost connection, and then the connection will re-establish. The entirety of the black screen is about 3-5 seconds, but it happens every 1 or 2 minutes. I tried running multiple games, thinking maybe it was just an issue with this game or that game, but it's persistent in every game. Looking online, I did see some forums and posts which addressed the issue and gave some work arounds, but honestly, if I need to spend 30 minutes making a new sync profile to work around the V-sync issue of the monitor, I'm just going to take the monitor back to the store. It's not worth my time or money to create a work around for a feature that should work out of the box. A little tweaking here and there is fine, but making a custom sync profile with lowered resolution\frame rates to accommodate an issue with the monitor is not okay with me. My 2 cents: go with a different monitor for 1440p HDR 165hz gaming, this one is not it.

Posted .dhock,
Thanks for your review and we're sorry to hear that your monitor is not working the way that you hoped it would. Please note that S3220DGF is a FreeSync2 monitor and is not G-Sync Compatible. If G-Sync is enabled on that monitor, issues such as flicker, blanking, etc could occur. List of Dell G-Sync Compatible monitors are listed here: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/products/g-sync-monitors/specs/. We hope that this helps any concerns that you've had with your monitor.
Best,
Bryan
