Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the S3220DGF monitor's screen size, refresh rate, and resolution, frequently praising its suitability for gaming and work. Many appreciate the monitor's quality, HDR capabilities, and FreeSync technology, although some noted the absence of built-in speakers and the monitor's weight as drawbacks. A few users reported issues with dead pixels or ghosting, but these concerns were less prevalent than positive feedback. The curved screen is also a feature that many users enjoyed.

Thanks to Covid, working from home like a lot of people. In the office my laptop fit into a docking station which connected to two large monitors. Since March I’ve been working off the laptop screen and it has been difficult looking at emails, spreadsheets and different applications on such a small screen. I purchased this monitor and my eyes are very grateful for the selection. Amazing how much area there is to open up multiple apps and not have to squint anymore. Beautiful screen resolution!

Great contrast/blacks. Love the low input lag. It's heavy, so keep that in consideration if you are wanting to mount. 32" is also a lot bigger than I realized after upgrading from a 27" so make sure your desk is deep enough to get it a few inches farther from your face. It's a VA panel so colors may not be as pure as an IPS, but blacks are better in sci-fi or space-based games. Backlighting maybe a little inconsistent. It's curved so viewing angles aren't great. Get this for a straight-on desk set up. Panel maybe lacks durability: I was moving it and flipped the power cord over to get it out of my way -- it barely touched the screen and now there's a noticeable chip in the panel that makes it look like a dead pixel :-(

I originally was planning on returning this monitor but after using it for awhile, have come to really like it. Size is a lot bigger than what I was expecting but I honestly prefer it now that I'm used to it. Gaming on it is awesome. Looks amazing and runs really smooth(haven't noticed any screen tearing or ghosting) but will say that watching shows or movies isn't as enjoyable (there's a good amount of blurriness/graininess) but other than that, looks fine. If you watch youtube, do put the quality to 2k for 4k if the video provides it as the downscale to 1080p is rather unpleasant.

Got this to serve as both a monitoring for editing photos, graphic design, and gaming. It can do all of things incredibly well. I have my Xbox series X hooked up to it and can play 1440p quality at 120hz, super smooth gameplay. If you are looking for a monitor that can do everything (besides play noise) than this is the monitor for you! Only downfall that it doesn’t have any speakers in it, but I don’t mind since I usually have a headset when I game or have headphones/Sonos speakers hooked up to my computer. Highly recommend!

Overview: I'm not anywhere near an expert in this area. I did upgrade from an ASUS 24in 1080p 60htz so I could get more from my recent RTX 3080 purchase, and it's been great. So this is a generational upgrade for me technically speaking, so my review may be biased because I'm entering a new tier of tech. Pros: The curve, general display, look and feel, typical desktop use has been 10/10. Gaming experience has been great, 2k gaming with high(er) refresh rates. Doom Eternal looks wonderful at 2k with what I believe is 165htz, and MS Flight Sim is truly beautiful in 2k, even at 40FPS. Was on sale when I purchased (paid about $350). The maneuverability available to change height and angle is more than I expected and I do occasionally move it around depending on what I'm doing and it's just so easy. Cons: I'm not too familiar with HDR, but from what I understand this monitor doesn't do it well. I can't get HDR to look "good" in any thing I've tried. I appreciate that it's "HDR capable" but really it's more like "HDR challenged" from the other reviews I've had and my own experience. I would stay away if you're looking for the best quality HDR. Mehs: Could've used a joystick controller in the back rather than 4 or 5 buttons or whatever's there. Keep the buttons, just gimme a joystick I'm trying to fine-tune my display. No speakers, it has audio output as a headphone jack, but a bare minimum speaker would've been appreciated (not by me, but for someone I'm sure, the solo headphone jack for audio is perfect for me, I have a speaker system anyways) Summary: Would recommend if you're looking for a 32in, don't need 4k or anything higher than 165 refresh, and use it for an all around workstation display. Wait until it goes on sale, anything over $400 for this is pretty steep imo.

Upgraded from a 27" 1080. what a difference. The curve is slight enough to barely notice. I wasnt sure about a curve but I like it. I think the text would be sharper on a 4k but I dont think my eyes would have been good w a 4k. I wear glasses already. I originally bought an "open box" for a great deal. It arrived broken. When I returned it in store, customer service rep upgraded me to a new one for the same cost without an issue. great customer service for a wonderful monitor. 1440 FTW.

I purchased this monitor for gaming and work from home use. I wanted something larger than my current 27" but did not want to spend a lot of money on an ultra wide. I found this monitor on sale for $379.00 at that price I could not pass it up. And it was certainly worth it. I've never had a curved monitor and was concerned it might bother me but it works great and seems easier on the eyes. Games are great and for work I can view multiple docs. Brightness and Color are fine, not spectacular but quite good considering the price. The fast refresh makes everything smoother and games feel faster. My work setup is a 2015 Macbook Pro using this monitor and a Dell 27". My gaming setup is a 2019 Razer blade 15, 2070 max-q and this is only connected to the Dell 32. Both connected easily and required only a couple of tweaks to adjust to the way I wanted. If you are looking for a larger monitor for work or play and want to save some money I recommend this monitor.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this monitor !!! Get it on sale, you won’t be disappointed !!! Im very picky when it comes to monitors, i bought a few other monitors and this is the one i ended up with. Very good monitor for the price, it doesn't come with speakers, so make sure you have a headset or any other audio output device when you get this. Ive had this monitor for a while now and i seriously do not regret my purchase one bit, if for some reason it ever broke, id buy it again in a heartbeat without considering another monitor.

I got this monitor on sale and it exceeded my expectations by far! I plan to use it with next gen consoles. HDR works great on movies and TV shows. Black uniformity is pretty good minus a small area on the top right of the display but it is only noticeable in a pitch black room. Ghosting is very minimal to not present at all. Colors are amazing! You really notice the 3000:1 contrast ratio right out of the box, colors really pop. Overall this is an amazing monitor and if you are on the fence about purchasing it I would say just go for it, you won’t be disappointed!

Excellent monitor for gaming and media consumption and overall a great monitor for everything else. 1440p is the sweet spot for PC gaming and in 32" and with a curve it just makes it even sweeter. I can't speak about color accuracy for photo editing, but HDR looks good in YouTube vids and Netflix. And when it works on games it's not bad at all (Doom Eternal, for example). You can't go wrong with this monitor (especially when on sale), but if you do want/need sharper text then I recommend you go for a 27" 1440p instead. There's many options out there.

I was looking for a bigger monitor for working from home, watching Netflix, and playing video games. After checking the market, I decided my basic requirements were: 1. Significantly bigger than my existing 27 inch Dell monitor. 2. Something my existing Nvidia 970 graphics card can handle (i.e., probably not 4k). 3. G-sync/FreeSync compatibility for the future (not supported on my existing video card). 4. Price <= $500 When I got out my tape measure and thought about tracking my eyeballs to the edges of a huge screen, I started considering curved monitors. The combination of all of my requirements narrowed the choice down to just a few models. I chose the Dell because its a good looking monitor and I have a certain brand loyalty from previous Dells I owned. I chose BestBuy because their price was competitive and I could pay on time interest free via PayPal. First, the good: I got this monitor home and it is a beast! There is nothing chintzy about the construction of the monitor or the stand. The tilt, swivel, and height adjustments are all butter-smooth. This monitor has a slimmer profile than I expected in a curved monitor and looks great on my desk. The Dell 32" Gaming Monitor picture is just stunning. There is not a single dead pixel. Yeah, it's not 4k, but it looks good to me and it didn't break the bank. Games are immersive in a way I've never experienced. Videos have depth that I've never seen outside an movie theater. For regular computing, it took a few days to get used to the way windows look on the curved screen. After a couple of weeks, I've fully adjusted. Now the less good. Cable management is adequate, but the ports are all in the back of the monitor, including usb. Do not expect to be doing any quick cable disconnects on this unit. The Dell 32 Gaming Monitor has integrated speakers but I could never get them to work with my ASUS Xonar DG audio card. Fortunately, I was able to re-use my existing Dell soundbar, so it wasn't a big deal for me. My Nvidia GTX 970 graphics card struggles a bit with this monitor playing fast moving games with settings on max. Frame rates drop when the action gets heavy and there is some tearing when you pan the view around. I was excited to try out this new G-sync technology, but was disappointed to discover that, although the monitor supports G-sync, the video card does not! My point in relating this story is to warn you that if you are a gamer, the full cost of ownership on the Dell 32 may include a new video card. Bottom line: I'm very pleased with my purchase. If youHighly recommended.
