Customers are satisfied with the S3220DGF monitor's screen size, refresh rate, and resolution, frequently praising its suitability for gaming and work. Many appreciate the monitor's quality, HDR capabilities, and FreeSync technology, although some noted the absence of built-in speakers and the monitor's weight as drawbacks. A few users reported issues with dead pixels or ghosting, but these concerns were less prevalent than positive feedback. The curved screen is also a feature that many users enjoyed.

I am not a professional or even heavy duty gamer, but this monitor does everything I need. It has no problem displaying the games I do play, gives me plenty of real estate for multi-tasking, adjusts up, down, and side to side. The stand is perfect and hides the cables well (unless the monitor is raised all the way), with narrow bezels around 3/4 of the screen. The screen itself is plenty bright and gorgeous, And I got it on sale, what's not to love?!

A bit pricey (mainly due to the HDR option) but it has good features like HDMI/DP audio in and a LineOut/Headphone jack that comes in handy. Other good points are the 4 USB 3.0 (two in front next to headphone jack, two in rear by HDMI) and came with a USB 3.0 cable (as well as HDMI and DP cable). Tax here in Washington was $44.55 on this monitor so at $494.54 it feels less of a good deal but I do see the value in the points I listed above versus monitors lacking those and costing $100 cheaper, as well as the HDR which I don't value much (even though I set out looking for an HDR monitor). Plus I really have enjoyed my other Dell monitors (32" 1080p) so I like sticking with Dell.
This 1440p monitor is mat finish (less glare/reflections) which seems less "brilliant" than my glossy 32" monitors but don't be fooled. The actual image quality is not enhanced just because it is showcased in a glossy front panel.
The stand is rigid as can be for a mono pod type stand and the monitor travels a full 6 inches up for better viewing at times. The side to side movement is adequate for my needs and on par with most good monitors. I do wish I could turn the monitor 90 degrees (portrait mode) but most monitors, this size and up, do not allow this. There have been a few times where I actually laid my other Dell 32" 1080p monitors on their sides to get some specific work done as they had rigid stands that did not turn (nor did they move at all. All reasons why monitor prices vary so much. I just need to invest in another good monitor arm system for this. The two I have had for years only work on my smaller 23" monitors that I hardly use these days. Unfortunately the arms that hold larger monitors are still very expensive for good ones and typically need to secure them to your desk/workstation.
This is my first high refresh rate monitor. It does stress my GTX 1070ti card when running it at 1440p and HDR. Although, it does sync even though this is sold as a Free-Sync monitor (AMD versus G-Sync that my video card uses). The Tomb Raider video benchmark runs at 1440p in almost all max settings but only reaches seventy something frames per second (lowest 52) but it does sync and no video tearing. I can't see the difference of FPS beyond 60 but the tearing is very noticeable and a welcome feature to never see that again.
Lastly, HDR; the main reason why I chose this model. It was the cheapest 1440p 32" monitor that had HDR (HDR400 to be exact, as opposed to HDR600 or HDR1000). This is why this monitor is over priced by about $100 and to me it's not that much of a difference. I did a lot of research and the contrast ratio is very good and the brightness is high but it's the bare minimum for HDR. You also have to go into the settings and turn on HDR on the monitor and in windows so it's not seamless. There are also game and movie HDR settings that make text in Windows look terrible. It was unexpected to have to mess with all these settings everything I want to go from Game to Movie to Windows mode and not sure id this is the same for all HDR monitors.
Just because of the barely noticeable HDR and having to fiddle with it, I was almost going to return this monitor. I figured I would save that $100 (or more) and put it towards an RTX 2070 or 2080 in the coming year. But I waited to long and went past the return period. Oh well, I obviously was on the fence and not too worried about it. Maybe there will be firmware updates and the HDR features will be more user friendly. I hear a few years ago HDR in windows was not user friendly and today it's much better. I still would recommend it if you want the best entry level HDR 1440p high refresh rate monitor and don't want to spend more the $500. I see an opened box for $399 plus tax. so that would be a good buy (or Best Buy) for someone looking at this monitor.

I love this monitor! I have had zero issues with this monitor and is great quality. I have not experienced any screen tearing, dead pixels, or any problems what so ever. I love that I can set this into a comfort view or have it really bright. Just be ware of Ubisoft, they override your monitor settings, but can be disabled within their games. I would very much recommend this monitor!

With the sale price of $349, this is by far the best value I’ve ever had from a monitor. At 32” that price sounds like a budget monitor, and it is far from a budget monitor. Not as good color quality as some upgrades out there that cost $800+ but this is a great monitor with an exceptional price. I didn’t want a curve but I bought it anyways, and it makes zero difference in anything I do whether gaming or hooking it up to my laptop so I’m glad I did.

I loved my Dell as soon as I unpacked it. Its both big and stylish with great color and HDR features. The first few months I used it mainly for work, editing video, video conferencing, and light gaming. No problems. It wasn't until I really started gaming on this monitor that I noticed the black levels are TERRIBLE.
I'm playing Red Dead 2 and at night time in the game it's basically unplayable. There are splotches of grey throughout the screen when it's supposed to be black. I even had Dell send me a replacement model but the second monitor had this same issue just even worse! I'm starting to think they just haven't figured this problem out yet.

I bought this monitor to pair with a cyberpower gaming pc for my son's Christmas gift, and we both love it! The graphics are outstanding, crisp and clear. My only issue with the monitor was that it didn't have built in speakers, but that's easily rectified by purchasing a 25 dollar set of computer speakers. Very pleased with my purchase, and I can hardly pry my son away from his computer.

I purchased two of these due to how much I love this monitor. The colors are great out of the box, in my opinion. No dead/stuck pixels on either. No backlight bleeding on either. The quality control for this product is excellent. HDR 165 MHz. Multiple inputs and it’ll auto switch between them. This monitor is great for both gaming and work. Would highly recommend.

Currently using this as my WAH/Personal set up with a Dell laptop and a MacBook Pro. Looks great and easy to set up. Haven't been able to use anything with HDR besides a PS4 Pro but so far it is great. A bit heavy as well but that was expected.
Just a few notes, if you plan on using this with a Macbook, you may want to look into getting a usb-c to Displayport cable so that you're able to get full functionality.

Wow!!!! I usually use 3 screens at work running different needed programs simultaneously. That took up allot of desk space. So I bought this beast. I can fit every one of them on to a single screen and crystal clear!!! As for graphics I did hook it up to my PS5 to test it out. It was i clear and fluid that it actually made me a bit nauseous. But a good nauseas.

A critical improvement for my WFH set-up. I went from an old 1080p TV as my work from home monitor to the Dell S3220DGF and have never been happier. The screen allows me to work efficiently and play with high performance. Color space is very good as are response times and performance. I'd love a little deeper blacks and had too do a fair bit of tweaking on the settings to get things dialed in.
