The original I bought this to go with is the HDR model and is currently dying, about 1.5" of the screen to the left and bottom of it is going green and there's nothing I can do do stop it. Might look good for a year, might last two. if you catch on sale it might be worthwhile, otherwise go for a brand that actually makes LCD panels and not a company that aggregates other companies hard work together for their own profit.

I kid, of course. Still the curve in this monitor ensures that I have glare at all times, not just from one angle.

Its BIG, lots of real estate for open windows, the curve is a small improvement on flat 27" prior screen, colors are gray/washed out compared to my other 24" flat screen Dell monitor, and Dell Laptop screen
