Really good monitor
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Dell 32" gaming monitor is a glorious 32" of real estate. It is great for gaming and an excellent all around monitor. The good: The 165Hz refresh rate keeps games super smooth. And it has a very good 2ms response time. The combined 165Hz and 2ms means quicker response times and a leg up on your friends. Blacks are really good, contrast is excellent, and colors are vibrant. 32" is a lot of screen and games become immersive. The curved screen almost makes for a 3D effect. At 32" and 2K there is plenty of room for having apps side-by-side. I'm used to having 2 displays, but no longer need them with this monitor. The not so good: The monitor is not height adjustable and it doesn't swivel. Also, HDR would have been nice for a gaming monitor. But these are minor gripes. Conclusion: This is an excellent gaming monitor that works really well as an all-around computer monitor for office apps, design, etc. And watching movies on it is amazing. In fact, everything looks better on this monitor!

You mentioned you are not 100% satisfied with it, because it is not height adjustable and it doesn’t swivel. Your gaming monitor is equipped with a height-adjustable stand, which can be lifted up to 100 mm and tilted as well (-5° to 21°).

Best Buy did nothing to try to protect the product during shipping (shipped it in the box it came in from the manufacturer). I hooked the monitor up for first time and immediately had scrolling lines with a damaged display.

Quality control in dell is horrible! If you purchase this monitor make sure you run a pixel test on it! More than likely you will see one or more dead pixels! Returning for a refund now smh!!!
