Dell - S3222DGM 32" LED Curved QHD FreeSync Monitor – NOT FPS is a good HD 2650 x 1440, 165Hz resolution 32” inch monitor with a 1800R Curve and a 10.2 ms response time at the maximum refresh rate. Like most VA monitors the transition from dark scenes to brighter ones are significantly slower than most other transitions. This causes a noticeable trail behind fast moving objects – also known as 'black smear'. Optimum refresh rate with FreeSync and G-SYNC is only available over DisplayPort. With good build quality and thin bezel, adjustable stand (tilt ,and height) that is only slightly wobbly, along with the ability to use the built-in 100 mm x 100 mm VESA mount which is behind the docking piece for the monitor stand, it gives you a versatile setup. At 18lbs for just the monitor and 22.4Lbs with the stand, it seems to be slightly heavy for its size. Note since the VESA mount is recessed you have to use a 100x100 plate, not an adjustable one. The monitor is well boxed and easy to assemble. Thickness with stand is 7.8 Inches and without it is 5.3 inches. Because of the curvature of the screen it is a bit thicker than a flat 32inch monitor. The monitor has nice brightness and contrast and good colors and viewing angles but has limits due to being a VA panel resulting in disappointing horizontal viewing angles. Moving off center results in black levels rising and gama shifting – resulting in a somewhat washed out look. If the screen is positioned close to you the curved screen helps to compensate for this. If this is your first curved monitor it will take you a short period of time to get used to it. The Backlight is completely flicker free There's a joystick control on the back for navigating the OSD. There are also four quick access buttons that can be assigned to different options. The power button is located on the bottom bezel of the display. The Dell S3222DGM has a few additional features, including: • Timer: Displays a countdown timer on-screen. • FPS Counter: Displays the current frame rate the monitor is receiving from the source. • Dark Stabilizer: Adjusts gamma to make it easier to spot other players/enemies in shadows. • Display Alignment: Displays gridlines on the screen to help align multiple displays. • Downlight: Dell has added an ambient downlight on the bottom bezel. It's a fixed blue light that can't be changed, it can only be turned on or off. The monitor has two HDMI 2.0 ports one DisplayPort 1.2 port, and it uses a standard included PC power cable - no brick is needed. It also has analog audio out with a 3.5mm jack. You receive both a HDMI and DP Cable If you are looking for a 32” curved monitor this is a decent gaming monitor with excellent motion handling and low lag input at the max refresh rate. It has the typical VA monitor issues such as black smear. If a high contrast ratio is one of your focuses this unit is great otherwise most IPS monitors deliver a better overall experience.

This thing is GREAT. I don't game on it--just use it for work. Email, Excel, Word, etc...so I'm sure I'm not using it to its full potential. But it is SUCH an upgrade from the dual monitors I was using before. Plenty of real estate for multiple open windows, etc. The curved screen is easy on the eyes, too.

The first thing you notice with the Dell S3222DGM 32 inch curved monitor is the weight and overall quality feel of the unit itself. Given it’s a curved screen it’s a bit thicker than other monitors and its pretty big overall so be sure you can accommodate such a large screen. I’m new to having a curved monitor so I was excited to see how it would perform and how Id like it. I don’t think I need to delve too much into setup but attaching the stand is a couple of easy steps then much like every other monitor out there you attach the power cable, use the supplied HDMI or Display port cable and you are up and running within minutes. It has a 1440P (Vertical Alignment) VA Panel and in use shows great contrast with vibrant colors and handles game motion with ease. Input lag is low and it has variable refresh rate technology but doesn’t handle HDR content. The picture from a straight on viewing is great but does wash out a bit when viewed from the sides at an angle. I did have an issue with the menu / power button configuration and figuring out how to navigate the menu and various choices but kind of muddled through it and I’m sure Ill get the hang of it with more use. For gaming its great but also for your everyday mundane tasks whether its Outlook, PowerPoint or for me the myriad of Zoom calls I need to still attend. Im happy I got it and would recommend the Dell S3222DGM to anyone needing a monitor for gaming and anything else you want to throw at it.

Very happy with this DELL monitor had for a month now no problems at all, nice crisp fonts. I don't game anymore so could not tell you about that. It is slightly curved like my wife ;) I do miss the four USB ports from my old DELL that's the only complain. got it on sale for $287 plus warranty so it was great deal.

Dell - S3222DGM 32" LED Curved QHD FreeSync Monitor (DisplayPort, HDMI) - Black This is the first curved monitor I have used and at first I was not impressed. In fact it took a good week of daily use before I started to feel comfortable with the screen. It just seemed to induce a bit of distortion that I was not used to seeing. However I can say that once I got used to it it felt natural. But at the 32” size I am not sure the curve is very useful. I would have liked to try it on a larger screen where I think it would have provided a much bigger benefit. And this is the problem I have with this Dell monitor. I just don’t see where it has anything much beyond the curve. The display is using a VA LED panel. This is a very common panel type for high refresh rate monitors like this Dell and should provide deeper blacks then the other common IPS panel types. Other than the curve there is nothing that sets this monitor apart from any other competitors at this price level. The monitor doesn’t support HDR and there is no real pop to the colors. The display is clear and very fast and the stand is a common Dell feature that is tested and works well. It has two HDMI 2.0 ports and one Display port along with a single headphone jack. And that is really about it. The build quality is fine although the curve actually uses more desk space than the similar size flat panel I use everyday. I found the on screen controls to be simple and very bland. There is a bright blue light under the front bezel that some may find distracting. Luckily you can swipe across it and turn it off if you like. And that’s about where it ends. This is not a bad monitor but other than the curve there is little else here to like and at this size that might not be enough. It is mostly a bare bones VA display with a high refresh rate that you can get from any number of manufacturers at a lot of price levels. I have had excellent luck with Dell monitors over the years and that might be the biggest reason to buy this monitor.

Ill be honest man, the quality of this monitor is great, truly.Runs 120Hz on console with 1440p and 1ms response time ,could not really get much better than that. However, this monitor for my brand is a little too big.I am more of a competitive gamer and play things at a high level, im talking elbows on knees, mouth open, right up on the screen type locked in.And listen, with this thing you gotta kinda sit back a bit and see everything and its just not really my brand personally.Kinda gotta move your head a bit to see everything on the screen and thats just not really my brand of monitor.Id put it to you like this right, if your more a laid back type guy on the game right just kinda you know gettin off work, had a long day, wanting to just relax, pop you maybe a cold one, and just enjoy some gaming with a great quality monitor, this is the one for you and this would absolutely be the one for you. But, if you are a more locked in gamer like myself right, elbows on knees, leaning closer to the screen, mouth wide open, ready to just give it just everything you got, I would say stick to around 24 to about a 27 inch monitor.I might test out the 27 inch one they got and see what that one is talking about.
