Absolutely garbage. Guess ill be returning this one as well. Probably will go with Samsung or LG. Samsung was decent but that base was trash.

Didn't last 2 years

But then, all of a sudden, it died while my wife was using it. The screen turned plain white. There was no collision or contact. It just cracked on it's own and died mid use! The warranty for it is 1 year, so now I have a massive paper weight. How is it that a cheap monitor from a decade ago can still work just fine, but a $300+ can't last even a year? Needless to say, we are never again buying dell monitors.

Not bad, but might want to pass on these

Best Buy did not have these on display, and even if they did all their monitors are stuck on Demo Mode and factory calibration in demo mode is terrible. First impressions were pretty good. I have one of these connected to a Mac Mini Pro M2 using a display port to USB-C cable. Refresh Rates successfully hit 165Hz and it is noticeable. The monitor color mode MOBA/RTS looks very nice with my Mac video processing. The second is connected using a Display port to min-DP cable, to my Intel NUC 11 Panther Canyon. Also reaching 165Hz, after the refresh rate is manually adjusted in Windows. I'm happy with the refresh rate, color and contrast, non-aggressive curve and overall size. The monitor adjustment controls are in an awkward position, on the bottom right of each monitor. If you buy a pair, placing them side by side can become annoying when calibrating. However, backlight bleed on both of these is terrible. Color banding is also the worst I've seen on a monitor, in a long time. Color depth is 8-bit. I should have spent more and bought monitors with 240Hz and 10-bit color depth. I threw away the boxes so I can't return them. Knowing that you get what you pay for, especially with inexpensive monitors, I thought I could live with some inherent flaws especially for the price. But I just can't. If backlight bleed and color banding is not on your list to avoid, then you will probably love this monitor. Otherwise, don't make the same non-refundable mistake that I did.

With a 2560 x 1440 resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, and AMD FreeSync Premium, this monitor delivers smooth gameplay with minimal screen tearing. Unfortunately less than a month after purchase the lower half of my monitor went out so I had to do an exchange. Hopefully the replacement last longer.

Not For Me

No matter how hard I try, it just doesn't want to connect to my work laptop, which is a Lenovo ThinkBook. Multiple calls with IT and driver updates didn't fix the issue. I've never seen an IT person completely stumped and at a loss for solutions. The cables work perfectly fine. The monitor works miraculously with another Lenovo Laptop, but then it doesn't work with my personal one either. On top of that, the screen scratches if I even breathe in it's direction. I'm not a big fan of only 2 HDMI ports and a DP port, but I should have read the specs before purchasing, so that's my fault. A USB port or two isn't too much to ask for, I don't think. I've just never had any luck with Dell products, unfortunately. I really wanted to love this monitor, but it's been more of a headache than anything else. Hopefully I can find something similar that's actually compatible with my laptop, though the actual source of the issue remains unknown.

inferior GARBAGE

It was very expensive and a great monitor and I still own it. I saw this monitor and could not figure out how they were still selling it so cheap. well, now I know. USB PORTS are MISSING. There is NO HDR, DOES NOT SUPPORT VRR. I bought this monitor listening to people who told me it would support VRR on PS5, but it does not. DELL support did recently reply to my question and confirmed it does not support VRR. this is HOT garbage, if you can't afford a 500$ monitor, I guess it is fine for you.

Great until it wasn’t - hoping it was a one off

I bought it for my son and had to wait a month for Christmas. He has been enjoying it. Quick refresh rate. No lag on any games. Good field of view. Great colors. However after 3 weeks of use the screen pixeled and offset the bottom portion. Hoping it was a one off as I am going to try and get a replacement and see if it was just a one off as the rest of the experience was quality.

Frustrating

However, every single day I have to fuss with it to get any sort of picture to show. There’s something wrong with the HDMI port. It never picks up signal on the first try. I’ve tried different cables, different laptops, different ports, I even bought a docking station and still no luck. It’s a constant struggle. I bought this monitor to work from home, and now, today, I’m trying to login and I can’t because the HDMI refuses to work. Usually I can mess with it (every day) and it’ll eventually start working, but not today so I’m losing out on a day of work. This was an issue from the start when I first unboxed the monitor, I hoped it would get better with different cords/devices, but it’s only gotten worse. I wish I had gone with my gut and returned it when I had the chance.

Terrible Viewing Angles

Colors wash out very quickly when not looking dead center. My 10 yr old Samsung displayed better coloring. Sent the monitor back.

OSD Menu Keeps Randomly Popping Up

Now the OSD menu keeps popping up at random and the blue light on the bottom of the monitor is have a seizure at all times. Fortunately, then menu isn't in the middle of the screen but quite annoying nonetheless. I'll be going back to LG monitors. Never had an issue with them.

Used monitor

After looking it over closely it looked fine and works as expected so I didn’t feel like wasting my time packing it back up just to go get another one in hopes the next one would be new. Would of given this item 5 stars if not for the fact I was sold a open box item as new.

More money for no HDR

When I bought this I assumed (yes my fault) with it being 50 dollars more that it would have hdr. The only improvement was the 4sec response time was 2 seconds on this monitor. Sending it back. nothing i love more than wasting my time.

Keep looking save your money

Sad loss but Great Monitor

It was great while we had it, but it just stopped working. Best Buy made a great return and we purchased another monitor. They totaled made the whole experience better.

Sweet 32" 2k game monitor died after 27 months.
