Good but not great

praised too highly, many thick Pixelization lines

This is not the case, What i saw immediately are pixel lines. more pixel lines than clarity of photos and definitely typed words. There is no smoothness in what is seen. Also the monitor is HUGE, with no way to adjust lowering the height. one can't see over it, thus if your in a living room with others, you will become secluded behind a giant wall of screen. If you dont want to see pixels, especially if you type or read or edit, focus on getting a 4k monitor, not 1080p

too sensitive

You may want to make sure that your connections are attached tightly to your screen. If your connections are loose, they could cause your screen to go black if they become disconnected. Good for general monitor

Decent monitor

Not what I expected

Having always been an HP user, I was skeptical, but decided to give it a try. The picture quality was definitely not as good as the HP brand, and the menu options to adjust the picture settings were pretty limited. The monitor didn’t adjust all too well either. I returned it and bought an HP.

Junk ... so far

Several problems right off the bat. 1: there is graduated gray sections extending at least 2" from both the left and right edges of the screen obviously due to the dispersion screen used with the 'edge LEDs' tech. A major defect. 2: There was a 1/2" scratch on the upper 1/3 of the screen. 3: The drivers for the monitor "stole" all my audio drivers. All audio is now routed to the monitor ... which doesn't have speakers! Can't even find my native audio drivers anymore. I'm really irked about this. I went into Dell support which was a worthless experiment totally. Dell doesn't support their products! I will be returning this Best Buy as soon as I can figure out how. I will try one more time but until then I don't even have audio! On the plus side though: the colors are right on the dot! 2.2 across the boar, which is amazing! I wanted this to work with on photographs, since that is what I do, which it does well ... except as noted above.

Monitor good for basic computing
