The quality of the picture isn't really that great. The colors are somewhat washed out by comparison to the 10 year old sony monitor it's sitting next to, as well as compared to a 2 year old acer monitor. Just not great. But it's ok for my purposes and it was relatively cheap for a 27" monitor. I used this on a specified purpose computer, so it doesn't have to be great. That said, I wouldn't really recommend it if you like really crisp clean looking images on your monitor, because it's not that great.
