    As standalone monitor it is fine. As a second display for my laptop it wasn't. Neither of my laptops would recognize the Dell monitor as a second display, only a single primary display to replace, but not supplement, the built-in laptop screen. That's not what I wanted. So, it is a fine standalone unit, but doesn't work (for me) as a dual-display unit. .
