    Poor electrical components

    The milk frother and espresso side has never worked well. Not defective, just isn't good at all. Recently, the electronics have seemed to start shorting to the point where the espresso button has started turning itself on. Without any water, the part holding the portafilter heated up to nearly 200 degrees. As far as I'm concerned, this was just a poor all in one coffee maker, now it's also a fire hazard.

    Frother is an issue

    The milk frother does not work all the time, and ends up over filling the drain reservoir. This leaves a mess under the unit that continues to have to be cleaned.

    I purchased and I had to returned twice. The first time, the clock didn't work properly and the second time, the steamer stop working. Review on line are very bad.

    I am so dissappointed with coffee machine only that the coffee is as hot. Everytime I brew, I have to warm the coffee up in the microwave

    Possessed coffee machine

    Had this coffee machine for over 2 years now and it has literally NEVER operated as designed/intended. The milk frother worked maybe 4 times total before it just completely died. Ive cleaned and decaulked the machine numerous times, didn’t fix it. The time will randomly change, the buttons seem to hit themselves and it’ll do whatever it wants whenever it wants, not what you want.

    Beware, missing parts.... don’t order online

    I would have loved to have used this coffee maker right out of the box, except the glass carafe and directions are missing. Makes the product kind of useless without them both. I’m not sure if this was a technicality or what but how is one able to make coffee without directions on how to use the machine and the actual coffee pot missing???? Had this delivered and the nearest Best Buy that has this stocked is 25 miles away. I ended up ordering the carafe on Amazon so for now it’s a useless coffee maker sitting on my counter collecting dust. Thanks Best Buy.....

    It quit making espresso after one week. I had high hopes for this machine and was utterly and thoroughly disappointed. The only good thing was Best Buy has great customer service.

    Who wants a cold expresso coffee?

    Very disappointed... I gave it a 2nd chance; maybe the first unit was defective, it could happen. But, this is not the case; this product is bad. 1st) Temperature for the coffee is cold; who wants to spend +$250 for a machine that brews cold coffee? Very bad... 2) You need to wait for the steam, so the coffee is already cold, and also you still need to wait more time to heat the water for the steam... to have your coffee even colder... The appearance is exquisite; unfortunately, this is just a WASTE OF MONEY.

    Buy Extended Warranty

    Purchased this machine 13 months ago, 3 days ago i went to fill the drip coffee chamber and water just spewing water from the back. I called Delonghi to see if there was anything that could be done. However, i was told that my warranty was only for 12 months. They refused ti even trouble shoot. I mean granted, obviously the damage was internal, i was told i was the 3rd person to call with that issue. I am guessing its a manufacturer’s error. But, lost out.

    Failed within 3 months. Replacement option was 2 separate units which failed within 6 months. 2nd replacement failed after 3 months. Refused to warranty. Do not buy

    Do not buy it

    I purchased this machine about a month ago and the second time I used it started to make a weird noise and started to brew by it self and I was not able to turn it off unless I disconnect it, I called CS and they told me to return it. So I decided to give it a second chance and got another one and now two weeks later is acting crazy again, the buttons light go on and off without touching them and the pot side won’t work and I haven’t even use that part of the machine. Will return again.

    Broke almost instantly. Leaked from the espresso side underneath the device. The clock would run and reset itself, the it would then turn on and off when the pot was on the warmer and try to make pots of coffee with no water. The bold button never worked. We had this for less about a month in total with bad performance throughout its use.

    Doesn't get hot enough. Because of this the coffee is week and watery and the frother doesn’t make true foam. Returning today. 2 stars for looks.
