Not disappointed!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had my previous DeLonghi Magnifica for over 13 years. Wanted to stay with the same brand and got the Dynamical. Nice looking and compact machine with the same one touch espresso/ milk frothed capabilities, but more programmable options. So far have been very pleased, but haven’t tried a lot of the options yet. This machine is also much quieter than my old one. Nice to see a familiar set-up but with additions and improvements! If you are like me and don’t want to manually steam your milk, I recommend this machine!

Delicious espresso drinks without all the work
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After two months, I'm ready to give a review that's based on regular usage. I'm happy with my purchase, and would recommend this machine if you're in the market for a super-automatic espresso machine. I love coffee; however I don't have the time or interest to work with a more manual machine. I am sure a traditional espresso machine (in the hands of a skilled barista) provides a beverage that's even closer to a product you'd receive at a professional coffee shop. That being said, the quality of the extraction along with the choice of beverages, steaming abilities, ease of maintenance and clean up provides me (in my opinion) more of a coffee house experience. I walk into the kitchen, push a button my beverage is made and I walk out of the kitchen. No need to go through a ritual of grinding, measuring, tamping, steaming then cleaning up. Multiply that by how many people in your house want you to make them an espresso beverage. There is a slight learning curve when you first purchase this machine. The first couple of days or weeks, you'll want to 'fine tune' settings, ingredients & overall process in order to get the most out of this machine. How fine of a grind gives you the flavor you like? What strength of coffee do you like? What kind of milk (dairy or non-dairy) provides the flavor and consistency you like? How long should I let the machine warm up the water before I make a beverage? I also believe that glassware also plays into the quality of the beverages. At first I used the mugs and cups I already had. I felt the beverages either weren't hot enough or lost their heat too quickly. I picked up a pair of those dual walled cappuccino glasses (like they have in the picture), and it made all the difference. I rinse the glass with hot water before making the beverage, and my drink is hot and holds it's heat while I enjoy it. I recommend the Dinamica if you're looking for an espresso machine that makes good coffee beverages and is easy to use and clean.

Good experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good first impressions. We have tried espressos and cappuccino the latte cream system is a must. A bit on the expensive side though in my opinion. Return to office is going to be difficult in the fall.

Good Saeco Alternative
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Came from the Philips 3200 series to this which to be honest is a poor man's Saeco. My father owns a Saeco Xelsis. And I will say that the Delonghi is on par with the more expensive espresso machines. The frothing and brew time could be better and I wished they decided to brew twice for a double instead of drawing in more beans and brew longer because I can definitely tell the difference. The top for the milk carafe is a bit flimsy, especially at that price point you would think it would have a better fitting.

Great Coffee
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great coffee...but the machine requires a lot of upkeep. For it to last you a long time, keep up with the at home maintenance. The coffee will not let you down. The temperature is pretty hot for a super automatic. We highly recommend it.

Amazing espresso machine
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely a big splurge for my husband and I, but we love this machine! The espresso is soooo smooth and the fact that I can make lattes and cappuccinos by just pressing one button is so amazing. Haven’t had any issues with it yet!

Back it went
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so excited to pick up this machine and get started! I’ve owned a Nespresso for years and was ready to upgrade- but the Dinámica left me disappointed. It does rinse itself often and the water goes all over the drip tray vs through the slots. Seems like the slots could be better positioned? Does this at start up and shutdown, so a lot. The LatteCrema was hugely appealing but I found it to have the same issues as my Nespresso Lattissima. The milk temperature is so-so at the highest temp setting. I did more asking and was told that Italian milk is room temp so I could let my milk sit out for awhile or microwave it to get the chill off. Meh. Who has that time to futz on a workday? Second issue is the milk is too heavily foamed, resulting in cappuccinos even at the lower settings. You either get no foam or mega foam. After two days of use making adjustments we decided this machine wasn’t worth the price tag for us and back it went. I must say that the Best Buy associate made it very easy to return and I was pleased with the transactions, but not the machine. Back to my super automatic machine search!

My own personal barista on my countertop!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like many, I haven’t been to the office since the start of the pandemic. One thing I greatly miss is our automatic espresso machine to help get me through the afternoon. However, leaving my house in the current climate just to grab a cap or latte is not ideal right now which is why I love the convenience of this machine. I do have a manual espresso machine but it’s just too much of a hassle between grinding the beans, getting them into the portafilter without making a mess, tamping perfectly, and steaming the milk that I never use it. The Delonghi is compact and should look great on any countertop. Setup is relatively easy, but despite the one-touch buttons there are a lot of options and tuning available so a read-through of the manual Is an absolute must before you make your first drink. For example, there’s a small knob to make very fine adjustments to the burr grinder and the machine needs to know whether or not the included water softener filter is installed to work properly. Unfortunately, the documentation could certainly be better. It assumes that you are familiar with espresso and the 18 types of drinks the machine can make. Once it’s all setup you simply add your whole beans (it does accept pre-ground coffee as well), water, and milk (if needed) and press the power button. It’ll quickly heat up the water and run a mandatory rinse then just push the button for a specific drink or you can use the menu button to pick a drink that does not have its own button. You’ll hear some whirring noises and clunks which is all normal and in about a minute or so your drink will be ready. If you’ve ever done an espresso on your own you will definitely appreciate how easy this is. Cleanup is simple as well. You’re going to want to have an extra cup or container on hand to catch the water that is dispensed through the rinsing cycles, both at the beginning, and to rinse the milk frother at the end. Other than that, you’ll just need to pull out the tray and dump the spent espresso pucks maybe every 12 drinks or so. The machine does alert you when it’s time to do. I did purchase some coffee flavoring online so now a French Vanilla or Caramel Latte is as easy as adding a little bit of syrup to the process. I’ve been adding it to the milk prior to steaming which helps it mix better than simply adding it to the bottom of the glass or afterwards. In my opinion this machine is the pinnacle of making an espresso at home. I mostly drink flavored latte macchiatos or cappuccino and occasionally a straight shot of espresso if I need a bit of a boost. While I personally need my coffee drinks hot, my wife absolutely loves the iced coffee and swears it taste just as good as what she gets from her favorite outlet. One downside of the machine is the process to create a custom drink. I wish there was a way to simply pull up the menu and use the LCD screen to add or subtract from the quantities of the pre-built recipes. But to program a custom drink you have to actually make it. At each step of the process you’ll press an “Ok” button after waiting for the desired quantity to be dispensed. It makes for an imprecise process and one that could require wasting a few trial drinks. One thing I wanted to do was simply double the latte recipe so that it matches what I get from the coffee shop but I can’t get it just right using this method and I also quickly realized you can’t get a big enough container (like a travel mug) under it to even fit a double latte. As far as maintence goes, every month or so the machine will ask you to run a descaling process, which takes around 45 minutes and requires you to add descaling solution to the water tank and fill it 2-3 times to rinse all it all out so make sure to purchase more descaler after you’ve used the included bottle. You will also need to replace the water filter every two months or so (depending on use) Pros Automagic Espresso Drinks Much easier than a manual espresso machine 18 different types of drinks including iced coffee Easy to read LCD display Includes first water filter and descaling solution. Leftover milk can simply be stored in container in refrigerator Self-cleaning Cons Cannot fit larger cups Documentation could be better Programming Custom Drinks is trial and error Overall – it’s an expensive machine but one could easily pay for itself if you were going to the coffee shop every day prior to the pandemic. The espresso drinks it produces taste great and require so little effort it’s definitely a recommendation from me.

Staple of our household. Can't imagine life before
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This little coffee machine has been a workhorse. Generating about 3 cups of coffee per day (two americanos for me, one latte for my wife). No hiccups since we've owned it. My only complaint so far is that the tank is a bit on the small side and requires frequent fillups. Other than that, its been amazing. Disposed coffee ground "pucks" make excellent fertilizer/compost for the plants too. Love this little machine

Wonderful machine!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this coffee bar/machine, fresh ground coffee for every cup that you can customize to your taste. I started roasting me own coffee and using this machine and haven't been to a Dunkin or Starbucks since I bought it. I've tried every single coffee drink and they are perfect. I am now a De'Longhi coffee snob and I like it! The only thing I did need to get used to was keeping a cup under the machine to catch the rinse when it turns off or on, easy enough to clean up when I forget.

Love our DeLonghi!
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is our second DeLonghi machine. We had the Nespresso machine for over 10 years. This upgrade is an amazing machine. We have had it about six months and love it! The milk brother is great! I like the Ice coffee feature too. The machine cost more than my first car, but look at it as a once in 10 year purchase.

Excellent Fully Automatic Espresso Machine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first purchase of an espresso machine, and it is amazing. Many reviews and guides will indicate that you should allow hours and hours of setup time, but it only took about an hour. The instructions are a bit overwhelming, especially if this is one's first foray into an espresso machine. I recommend giving the setup guide a full read before starting the setup. The first clean will take the longest and I highly encourage cleaning it fully at least once a week if it receives daily use. Be mindful of the amount of space that is recommended, as many cabinets don't have enough clearance to place it on a counter with a cabinet overhead. As many reviewers have mentioned, the flush options can create confusion on the first run through, but make sure that you keep a spare cup under the main spout when powering on or off the machine and an additional one under the hot water spout when running a flush. The drip tray will fill up even when cups are used, this is normal. We have tried many of the espresso drink options, from coffee to various drinks that include milk, all have been amazing. I hope this review encourages others to purchase this amazingly reliable and consistent espresso machine.

Weak drinks, returned
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an older dinamica so I thought this version would be amazing. No matter what setting I tried, the coffee tasted weak. I tried different beans as well as the same beans I use in my other dinamica. No matter what I did, the drinks were a bit bland and watered down tasting. I returned the machine. I still love my two year old dinamica, it just doesn’t have the cream system.

Transformative. Worth it.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This espresso machine is LIFE CHANGING. TRANSFORMATIVE. It made me drink so much more coffee... which my job appreciates. Also, the attachment milk frother is super nice to have- it's such a pain to try to froth milk properly and at the right consistency, but this does it for you.

The De'Longhi Dinamica LatteCrema Rocks!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally bought the Breville Barista for my wife for Christmas, because it claimed to be an automatic machine. When it arrived we found it required way too much work to be considered automatic, so we researched alternate machines and came upon the De'Longhi Dinamica La Crema. This machine was more expensive, but it is truly automatic. You push the buttons on the display screen to select your beverage and the Dinamica does the rest. You do have to clean the unit frequently if you use it frequently, but even that is automatic. You add descaling solution to the water and follow the prompts for rinsing etc. that the Dinamica gives you. The best part is all beverage variants that we have tried have been amazing. Although the machine's initial investment is somewhat expensive, it will pay for itself in not having to go to Starbucks or other coffee houses going forward.
