Not the best expresó machine, is not as easy to make a good late on this machine

Milk based drinks are not hot but lukewarm. Because of this, the machine was returned.

I don't have anything but good things to say about this coffee machine. The coffee tastes great, it is customizable to your preferences, it cleans itself, it looks cool, it has an app! Wow, just a really great experience so far. This machine is as much about the experience as it is just making great coffee. The thing I don't like about most espresso machines is that you need to do so much work to make the espresso. Grind the beans, fill the grounds, empty the grounds, and clean the whole thing afterwards. This usually leads me to not using the machine very often because of all the work. This machine solves that problem by automating nearly everything about the process, even most of the cleaning. The experience of pushing a button on the machine or on the app and having your coffee made to your liking is really cool! That is really all I need to say about this machine, but I will also add that it is easy to unbox, setup and use on a daily basis. The app takes a little while to connect each time you open it but once you customize your profile you don't really need the app anyway, it is just a cool function to have and to show off to friends. One final point is just to call out the overall quality of the product. Nothing feels cheap or unnecessary. The machine is sleek, sturdy and reliable. I would recommend it!

Less than 30 days old and frother quit working. Delonghi said they were sending a new frother but still not a word from them. Bought this for my husband for Christmas, he went into hopsital right after and hasn’t even used this coffee maker 12 times when it quit working!

I cant believe that Best buy would ship a 1600 dollar Expresso machine WITHOUT A SHIPPING BOX!! This arrived with all sorts of broken pieces inside, and, just slapping a label on the RETAIL BOX, on a fragile 1600dollar expresso machine is just plain dumb.. Of course, they took it back with no issues, however, even as a Silver Elite member, for many many years, they refused to do next day shipping on a replacement order, which is what I am supposed to get as a silver Elite plus member.. I'm done with Best Buy, your service levels have dropped into the toilet lately

After 3 days of us the machine started giving “add more coffee beans” error even though there are coffee beans. Would not make any drinks but would grind the coffee. It would think there are no beans or no grinded coffee. Returned it after 3 days. Disappointed with the purchase. Will be buying another brand that is actually reliable.

Good until the latte crema system stopped working in one month. Now it makes only espresso. Contacted customer support who after one hour of video and phone chat instructed me to keep making more cappuccinos hoping that the milk frother would start working again !!! Wish they stood behind their products.

Tastes okay with settings. The downside is you can't adjust the temperature of the milk for the latte. It is lukewarm at best. App is unstable from time to time.

The coffee just came out warm is no hot enough not happy at all for the price

I always start my day with a cup of coffee or two and love espresso and cappuccino and basically anything to do with coffee. When I heard about this machine I just had to get one for myself and try it out! I knew if it did what it was supposed to do, I would save hundreds of dollars boy not having to go to expensive coffee shops! Right out of the box you can tell this is a serious piece of equipment. Doesn't feel cheap or flimsy, I would totally expect to see a machine like this at your local coffee shop. It really has a professional feel to it. It is very easy to use. You just dump your beans in the top. You can use the touchscreen to choose from as bunch of different grinding settings and 16 preset drinks and you can also store your favorites in there to easily recall. I love this feature cause I like a certain drink and my wife likes other drinks. We can both program in our favorites and with a touch of a button we can each get exactly what we like without having to mess around with it. You can literally set the exact drink you want at the temperature you want. We absolutely LOVE this feature! There is even a guest profile that you can set if you have a friend or family member that comes over a lot. Another awesome feature is that all of this is controlled in the smartphone app as well. There has been many times where I pick up my phone while I'm still in bed and tell the machine to make me a cup of coffee from my bed. How cool is that! Just smelling that smell from my room is enough to make me want to get out of bed! This unit also has a milk frother built in. You can even detach it to keep it in the fridge and then put it on the machine when you want to use it. It saves a lot of time and money because you never have to throw out old milk that you forgot about and left in the machine. I was concerned at how hard this thing would be to clean when I got it, but it is actually very simple. There is a little door on the side that you open and there is a part that you just pull out and you rinse it under some water to clean it out. It also has a descale function built into it like most coffee makers do. It will even tell you when you need to run that so its totally idiot proof. If you are like me and spend WAY too much money at local coffee shops and want a better alternative THIS is the unit for you! Yeah, its a little expensive, but it will easily pay for itself in no time! It can make any kind of coffee or cappuccino and even iced coffees that you can dream of and they will taste just as good, if not better! You cant go wrong with this machine...definitely check it out!

Not thrilled about it. Uses way to much water, Bottom tray fills with water in no time and needs to be cleaned. Returned after 2 weeks went back with Breville.

This is a fantastic machine. If you figure out how much you spend on expresso pods for a Nespresso, you pay for this thing very quickly. The foaming function works great. The computer interface makes cleaning and descaling easy. Here are the things you should be aware of. This is a computer that happens to make coffee. I never use the wifi functions, because i don't need to start my coffee brewing from the bedroom and the reality is that if you want a milk based coffee, you need to attach the milk container anyway. Read the directions or call customer service. Here is the one and only one annoying thing. The coffee is lukewarm. You can set the machine to high, but high gives you 80 degree F coffee. It should be higher and I don't know why DeLonghi hasn't fixed this other than that they don't want the legal liability associated with coffee that is too hot. Otherwise, it is a flaw. Think of Starbucks coffee that has been sitting for 5 minutes. The remedy is microwaving it after. If lukewarm coffee bugs you and you think you shouldn't have to put your latte into a microwave, don't buy this. The lukewarm latte for me is fine. I just wish it was warmer and if DeLonghi was smart, they'd put out a software update that solves this or remedy it in the next version. Otherwise, it is a fantastic machine. The computerized screen makes it easy to make fantastic coffee and milk based recipes that are as good as Starbucks.

This machine is AMAZING for my house and probably yours too. Let’s be honest, if you are looking at his machine, you probably spend for the “barista” experience, and you can now have that at home! The Dinamica Plus is, to me, simply a work of art and engineering. Something so powerful packed in a machine that fits on my counter yet produces perfect and repeatable results with the touch of a screen is exciting. It blends into any modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances. This one machine is everything you need to make a coffee (beans, water, frother, and expresso maker) and EVEN the barista! Your job is to select the drink you want and enjoy the amazing smells and sounds of a coffee shop in your own home. The one thing I like most about this machine is consistency. Your drinks will remain the same every time. No more accidentally adding too much milk or creamer; that’s taken care of for you. The coolest part of this is that all drinks are fully customizable, and you get four profiles and a guest to make drink settings. Ease of Use This machine can make anything from cappuccinos to lattes to plain expresso to ordinary coffee like a k-cup. With that being said, you will need to spend time in the manual to learn about drinks and customizations to program things to your liking. Don’t get me wrong, this machine is good at making drinks with default settings, but there is nothing like making it a little stronger or adding a little more creamer/milk to get it just right, and THAT makes it all worth it. The app is nice and basic, but more of a gimmick for me since it is like a remote control that works when within range. To be truly impressive, incorporate voice assistant integration, and you will be the BEST machine hands down. To be able to say what you want and the drink is made from anywhere there is internet sounds exciting to me. At the same time, it may be scary to those who work at a coffee shop as this would mean no need for baristas. My Observations There were a few things I noticed that made me scratch my head though here too. First, if you make a mistake, YOU WILL LOSE any grinds after canceling the drink. I don’t understand why but I am sure it is due to the mechanics and simple programming being run in the machine. It to me is pretty annoying to know delicious EXPENSIVE coffee is being dumped into a container with other expended grounds reducing your chances of using it again. This brings me to the next part, using it with pre-ground coffee. If you need to use pre-ground coffee, you will see it get clogged when in humid environments or after making a few cups with grounds as they stick to the sides of the chute. For some, it may be too big for their counters and may run into problems with reloading under a cabinet. Let's Do Better I’d really like the incorporation of digital assistants like Google or Alexa with voice functions to make a cup of coffee at a certain time. I didn’t see the option to do the basics like power on and brew a cup on a schedule, and that would be nice. I wish it would autosave the last setting used i.e., I use the largest cup size with the scooper to finish some leftover pre-ground coffee, and I have to click the bean button like 5-6 times to get to the scoop then 5-6 more times to get the largest quantity. I get that we usually grind beans each time for this machine, but it’s the little things like that to set yourself apart. In all, I LOVE this machine and can recommend it to ANYONE who has the budget for it. You will not be disappointed and maybe will come back a click “helpful” under my review!

There is a constant electrical noise even after brewing. I had to return the machine.

As soon as you open the box you can tell that De'Longhi takes their Dinamica espresso machine seriously. The quality of the machine can be felt as soon as you take it out the box and place it on your counter. The machine is solidly built with a relatively easy set up. Once you clean the water tank with warm soap and water you fill it to the max fill line and follow the directions on the LCD touchscreen. The espresso machine initiates the priming process automatically and indicates on screen when it is complete. A test strip is included in the manual to test the hardness of your water so that you can make appropriate adjustments in the settings of the machine. I would recommend using the included filter even if you water is not hard. It is important to follow the directions included to properly install the water filter. You may connect the machine to your phone via the De'longhi app so that you can make your drinks via your phone(just remember to have your cup in place). De'Longhi does indicate that the machine may not be optimally dialed in until after your first 5 drinks. For those of you that are used to pod type coffee machines and you appreciate coffee then you will not be disappointed. It is however important that you invest in a good whole coffee bean because the better your coffee the better your coffee will be. De'longhi generously includes a sample bag of good quality coffee beans for you to get started. The Dinamica will dispense a little water when you turn on the machine and turn off the machine in order to ensure the dispensing nozzle is clean. The machine allows you to setup multiple profiles so that you can customize your drinks to your liking and save then to your profile. This ensures that your preferences will always be available by selecting your profile on the screen. You can add your choice of milk, almond milk or soy milk, etc. in the milk jug attachment so that you can make many of the drinks that require steamed milk. When you are not using the milk jug attachment you can simply attach the water spout in order to dispense hot water The drinks prepared are nothing short of what you can get at your local coffee shop and the best part is that it is in the comfort of your kitchen. Daily maintenance of the machine is fairly easy as all you must do is empty the coffee grounds container and drip tray. I currently own another high end fully automatic espresso machine I can already say that I will be exclusively using the Delonghi Dinamica daily. The attention to detail that Delonghi put into this machine is unmatched and you won't be disappointed. Even though the initial investment may be higher than other espresso machines the overall experience with the Delonghi Dinamica makes it well worth the price. If you love coffee and enjoy the complexities of a good cup of coffee then you will not be disappointed

The De’Longhi Dinamica Plus is a great coffee machine that does everything a full service coffee shop does, all in your own home. The expresso machine is fairly heavy, but for everything it does It actually is very compact. Setting up the machine is pretty easy; the box contains a big manual that has step by step instructions that walks you through the process. This machine has everything already included in the box including; descaling solution, a large milk frother, built-in coffee grinder, a 3 ½” touchscreen 16 different recipes of coffee and much more. The process of making coffee is extremely easy. The only thing you need to do is push a button on the desired choice and in less than a minute, its done. There are 3 different profiles you can set on the machine. The profiles give you the option to select your desired recipes and how you want them made. The machine also makes regular coffee as well as expresso, cappuccino, macchiato and more. Each flavor and recipe that I tried turned out fabulous and tasted better than anything I ever ordered at Starbucks. Certain recipes call for milk to be added, that’s where the milk frother comes in. The container on the frother is very large and can hold more than enough milk to last a weeks’ worth of coffee. It has 3 different setting on it and the coffee machine will tell you which setting to use for each recipe, whenever you make it. My only gripe would be that the foam never really gets that big even on the highest setting. The coffee machine does have built-in WiFi and Bluetooth, so you can connect to the De’Longhi app. In the you can set custom recipes, change profile setting, set up timers and see how your machine is holding up. I tried out the app and found that it does everything it’s supposed to do and had no problems with it. Overall, I think this is a fabulous expresso machine. Everything you need is all included in the machine, along with some amazing features. The built-in coffee grinder lets you adjust how fine you want your bean grinded, and the machine walks you through everything with the 3 ½” touchscreen. With 16 different recipes of coffee, there is definitely a type for everyone to enjoy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys coffee.

The De'Longhi Dinamica Plus is a game changer for an in home coffee and espresso machine. I have used De'Longhi Espresso machines in the past and had issues with getting things just right for great results but they have REALLY nailed this one perfectly with the features and ease of use. The machine itself is beautiful and looks fabulous on your countertop and is sure to be a topic of discussion when friends and family come over. The touch screen is user friendly and allows you to create profiles for different people in the home that can be linked to your Coffee Link app so you can start a drink directly from your phone! I feel like De'Longhi thought of everything with this machine. It's so user friendly and easy to use. The grinder works perfectly and dispenses the coffee in the form of little bricks in a removable tray for easy cleanup. The spout is adjustable for taller cups, the water catch tray underneath is easy to clean, the automatic rinse at the end ensures the machine stays in optimal condition, it's just an amazing product. The thing I love the most is the milk container can be stored in the fridge and pulled out when you want to use it so you don't have to fill it up and clean it daily. GENIUS!! The coffee (warm and cold brew), latte's and cappuccinos it makes are fabulous. I went to my favorite local coffee shop and bought some in house beans and I believe the De'Longhi Dinamica beats them at their own game! I am confident now in the ability to make great coffee every time! I also can appreciate the app being able to tell us if the machine needs maintenance or not, De'Longhi really thought of everything here. My wife and I are in love with this machine. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to anyone who wants a top of the line in home Espresso machine. I am blown away by the ease of use and intuitive features that this machine presents and I believe its worth every penny. Go out and buy it now!!

Overall if you want to make coffee that fits you, this is the machine. I am really impressed with the coffee from this machine. My consumption of coffee and coffee drinks has skyrocketed because overall it is just so easy to use and customize to your liking. The fact that it froths automatically and I don't have to worry about temps or anything and it just goes in is great and the coffee itself is great. Its also handy. The fact I can just heat water up for tea is a bonus and its quick. The app works well if you want to customize and setup profiles. but since I'm the only coffee person in the house its all mine. Honestly the options are great and getting the coffee adjusted, grind/flavor to you isn't hard. Once you dial it you get the same cup of coffee/espresso or whatever every time. Its great. Honestly if you want that cup of coffee dialed in to your liking and not have to go out and pray the person making it gets it right, then this is definitely the machine for you. Honestly I never had a machine make such prefect smooth well ground coffee every time. If you love coffee and want the cup the way you want from your beans this is definitely the device. I can't recommend it enough

I'm typically not picky about coffee, or, I wasn't, until I picked this up! Sure, I've had pretty much every variant of coffee you can find, but espresso and coffee house coffees have always been my favorite, BUT I wouldn't complain about your typical home brews. Then I tasted a few different ones that I made in this Delonghi machine - WOW! THis was my first espresso machine, so, I really had to experiment to follow the directions and get it right, but once I did I had some really satisfying coffee and espresso out of it. If you're buying a machine that costs this much though, it's worth your time to read the documentation. I typically wouldn't buy full bean coffee or espresso either, but since this machine has a built-in automatic grinder, I went the extra mile to test everything - I honestly think grinding them in the machine made for a much fresher tasting cup! The machine feels like it's built to last as well, not your typical cheap coffee maker - again though, at this price level you expect something that will last (psssst - IT'S WORTH IT!) A great addition to our kitchen - thanks De'Longhi for this awesome machine!
