I am really impressed with the pump. It pulls great shots quickly with silky smooth crema. The steam function is spot on. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive models. But, if you are just after excellent shots of espresso this machine is great. I use it with LavAzza espresso ground to No. 3 fine in my Oxo grinder. It takes me back to Torino every morning!

The interchangeable cups are a bit gimmicky and I would be more happy with a solid coffee holder that doesn’t flop out when you try to empty it. The side steamer is pretty weak and doesn’t make a very stiff foam. But for the price I really like the espresso it can produce

I'd recommend getting a non pressurized filter for your portafilter rather than using the one that comes with. Also, get a grinder (ideally conical burr for best grinds). Have had lots of fun with this and learned lots. I may consider upgrading in a year or two. I'd buy this again as a first espresso machine.

Easy to operate but in the other hand its plastic and its stainless steel easily scratch. The machine can not handle very fine coffee grind, but overall it is best for beginner home coffee barista like me..:-)
