This machine does not do "real" espresso shots. They are more watery even if you compress the coffee. I replaced the basket with a "bottomless" non-pressurized basket and it made a huge difference. Now they seem like real espresso shots and never plugs.

My husband loves his coffee/espresso! This has been a great machine. Works fantastic and makes awesome espresso. The filter holder seems to be little hard to twist in sometimes, but does seem to be getting easier so it could be that we need to get used to where the notches are. Have not made any lattes yet, but I'm sure they are great. Will update when we do. GREAT GIFT!

Easy to clean, great great coffee, Starbucks at Home

Really happy with this espresso machine, and the different drink options you have to make with it.

I had this less than a month and it broke. Maybe I was using it too much. Was doing 3 cups a day plus my wife does 2 cups a day. Anyway I updated to the Specialista Arte machine.

It works well heats up quick. Most certainly a learning curve tho. Still battling it to make a decent shot of espresso. It’s to the point I don’t even want to deal with it anymore.

It’s easy to use and wash. Makes really good espresso and vanilla steamers for my son and grandkids.

If you want a no-fuss, easy-to-use espresso maker, this is it. It's very tolerant of different grinds and coarseness, and is very easy to use. You don't have to worry with different temperature settings, etc. It heats up very quickly. If you want to spend 10-15 minutes making an espresso and fiddling with things, this is not the machine for you. If you want to be in and out in < 2 minutes, this is your machine!

This machine does what it is supposed to, however I don’t like that you can’t just turn it on and let it brew and forget it…you have to monitor it. In the morning I’ve got several other things I’m working on and I don’t have time to babysit the espresso maker. I have an inexpensive Yabano I purchased from Amazon that I can switch it on and can come back in 5 mins and it’s brewed. I purchased the Delongi to get 15 bars of pressure (Yabani only has 3.5), and to be able to make two at once. Well, having to stand there and watch it as it brews is a deal breaker and I returned it.

Our first machine worked for a few hours, and we had to return it. The second one, however, has worked like a charm. It is so easy to use and heats up quickly. The steamer takes a little work but if you use a metal carafe for the milk, it works much better at foaming the milk. Overall, we love it!

I got this machine for my wife after becoming addicted to cappuccino on a trip to Italy. This machine has no automated features. You have to learn how to make the espresso and steam the milk yourself (not that hard to do). It makes an excellent cup of espresso and cappuccino. Are there better machines out there? Not for the price. We've been using Illy espresso grounds. Everything on the machine seems solid and I expect it to last for years, We love it and make our coffee several times a day.

I’ve only used the nespresso pod system before so I can’t compare to any others but this has been a fantastic purchase. We use it more than any other small appliance in the kitchen. As long as you get the right beans and grind them right, it tastes better than Starbucks. Easy to use and clean.

Its not perfect but it does the job of frothing uour milk and giving you a shot of expresso

Love this machine! Makes great-tasting espressos, lattes, etc every time! Saves me a lot more money (and time) when I can make coffee drinks or hot cocoa at home. The only downside is that you have to "clear" the steamer into an empty cup every time you start to use it as it usually has a lot of water come out before it produces just steam.

Sturdy little machine. Works great, fits on counter easily. Tastes delicious!

Easy to operate, clean and makes awesome espresso and lattes. Comes with different size cups and easy to clean as well.

Pretty much does the job. Nothing incredible, if you try to do standard 18 grams on a double shot, it will either stick or not pour the shot. I would just save up to get a better one, no cap!
