Maybe I was using it too much. Was doing 3 cups a day plus my wife does 2 cups a day. Anyway I updated to the Specialista Arte machine.

Still battling it to make a decent shot of espresso. It’s to the point I don’t even want to deal with it anymore.

Makes great-tasting espressos, lattes, etc every time! Saves me a lot more money (and time) when I can make coffee drinks or hot cocoa at home. The only downside is that you have to "clear" the steamer into an empty cup every time you start to use it as it usually has a lot of water come out before it produces just steam.

It has a leaking problem though if you leave it with water still in the tank, so I have to pour out any leftover water when I'm done using it to avoid that problem. Other than that it's been great and saves me money from going to Starbucks!

Also the water started leaking out of the bottom after only a few days so I took it back and bought this one, couldn’t be happier.

Nothing incredible, if you try to do standard 18 grams on a double shot, it will either stick or not pour the shot. I would just save up to get a better one, no cap!

Eventually I will move up to nonpressurized portafilter to get a little more about of it but I'm in no rush. I make cappuccino,s and anytime you dilute.. you lose a lot of the base flavor. When I do my part the steam arm is great. I get thick milk with great consistency.
