If you don’t plan on making hot drinks a lot definitely get it but if you’re hot drunk person I would get a different one

Working from home the past year I found myself drinking a lot of instant coffee just to save time and only make a cup as I need it. For better or worse I've replaced it with espresso. This machine is easy to use, easy to clean, and, if like espressos or coffee drinks, will quickly pay for itself.

First time espresso was not coming out of machine. Again, today, except this time it drips and takes about 5 mins to make a 2oz espresso shot. I’ve given up on this machine. I’ve tried descaling, cleaning the machine, removing the water reservoir, all kinds of stuff that did not make a difference. So I am done. I wanted to love this machine, don’t get me wrong when it works it’s great. However I just didn’t have luck with Delonghi. If you buy this machine, make sure you get coverage on it!!!

When they didn't have a replacement part, I researched different espresso machines and came across this one by DeLonghi. This machine is as close to a barista/coffee shop as you can get. The flavor draw on the espresso and heated milk/foam is exceptional. I am so glad that I paid the extra cost for this brand.

At first, I was accidentally using the filter cup that was designed for pods (that is the default). If you are using ground coffee remember to look for the scoop icon on the bottom of the little cup. We use this machine at least 3 times a day, very happy with results for this price point machine.

I was a bit skeptical of how easy it would be to use and have been pleasantly surprised. Very easy to clean in between shots. We originally bought the Nespresso and found it too expensive to operate with the espresso pods.
