Doesn't Heat Up

My aunt has the exact same one and we all LOVE it! So much that's all my mom wanted for Christmas 2020. So of course I bought her the exact same one. I'm just finding out that she has had to warm every single cup up in the microwave to heat her drink and she's had to do it since the day she opened it. It will not heat up at all. & that's a lot of money to open something already not functioning properly.

Probably beat espresso machine in low price range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This espresso machine is a "near carbon copy" of an earlier Krups model that is no longer available and which was, without doubt, the best machine in its price class (~ $150). Sadly, this DeLonghi machine has failed to copy the two best features of the Krups model: a "ratchet-type lock" to keep the coffee holder from accidentally losing its grip, and a "push-mechanism" to discard the coffee from the holder. I cannot imagine why DeLonghi didn't copy these features.

We could never get a good shot out of this thing. We tried a coarser grind and all manner of different tamping methods. The pump simply can't get through the grinds. We returned it and bought a $99 Mr. Coffee that works great.

You can get quality coffee in the comfort of your own home. Most of all you can save a ton of money by not having to visit a coffee shop every morning.
