Terrible plastic smell, returned it

I made all preparations according to the manual but nothing... Just terrible smell of plastic from every part of the coffee machine. I so disappointed because I see so many positive reviews and thought that it is a good product, but its not..

More difficult to use

The thing that attaches where the espresso grounds go has interchangeable cups and is hard to get out and hard to attach to the machine. The cups don't empty easily and I frequently have to dig the spent grounds out of the cup. It just makes the whole process longer and more difficult compared to my cheap older Mr Coffee unit.

Frothing stem too short.

The frothing stem isn't really long enough to froth more than 1/4 cup at a time, because you have to put it in such a shallow frothing cup in order for the wand to reach. In order to get a decent size drink, I have to steam milk several times.

It will just dribble coffee into the cup on a single shot, on a double it won’t push through with enough pressure to make creama and takes a few minutes to flip the double shot cup. Luckily, I got it on a good price match so I’m writing it off as a starter. I’m picking up a better more expensive machine today as a replacement. Live and learn.

Stops Working Within A Month, 2nd One!

Espresso will not stream into the cup. I have tried everything to remedy but to no avail. Less than a month old, returning today and will not buy another one!

Aside from its size, I'd say the only downfall is the catch for the handle can be a little tricky and doesn't 'click' into place. But then again the big professional ones don't either.
