As far as espresso machines go that make "real" espresso this one is right on the edge. Anything cheaper and you may as well use a stovetop moka pot. But if you know what you're doing you can get tasty, authentic shots from this. It has a pressurized basket and portafilter, which means you can even use pre-ground grocery store coffee and get a reasonable result. It is also possible to buy a separate compatible bottomless portafilter and unpressurized basket and this machine is capable of pulling authentic shots that way. The steamer is good. The whole thing gets up to temperature quickly. My only real complaint is the machine is so light, even full of water, that it's hard to lock in the portafilter without really holding the whole machine tightly with your other hand.

This machines makes a pretty good espresso/latte. I read reviews before deciding to buy it. It does have the same issues as other reviews but It doesn't bother us and makes good coffee so we just deal with them. It does leak water out on to the counter. The coffee holder is HARD to get it attached to the machine. It takes lots of strentgh and effort. But the steamer works great and the coffee is hot!

The in the Box portafilter certainly a great start I chose to upgrade my portafilter and basket to create more pressure for my own personal styling but still for the price a great classic espresso machine all the way around.

Overall a good machine for the money. The wife and I make multiple Americanos daily and they last from 8-16 months. This is our fourth one. We use good water and throughly clean them monthly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTING THE BEST BUY WARRANTY! Every time ours breaks the exchange is easy and only costs $30 for the 2 year warranty. I’ll keep getting them. Oh and we don’t use the steam wand so can’t help there.

Great for starting off making espresso. I use it everyday. Buy a better tamper and a screen it will change the whole machine. 52mm is the size I think.

I use this every morning! I don’t have a lot of space on my counter so the compact size was great! There’s not much room for customizing and getting fancy with your coffee, but if you just want to have a decent latte or espresso shot in the morning I say this is a good product to get.

This is my second time buying this machine. I bought the first one and kept it for 10 years but it eventually needed a very thorough cleaning and so we just bought a new one. Best Value for coffee loves, but maybe not for those trying to be their best barista.

This is PERFECT if you’re in the early phases of learning how to make your own espressos. I was quite impressed myself! The machine is easy to use and easy to clean. This definitely saved me so much money instead of buying coffee from cafes.

Great espresso machine to start learning the process and the combinations that can be made. Simple and fast. The only thing to consider is that you need to buy a new tamper, I mean, the one given works, but it isn't that comfortable.
