I use this every mornin. It’s a little loud but needs to run only for a minute for a cup so no biggie.

Bought this to replace the self opening Vertuo Plus. The Vertuo Plus machine went out in exactly 1 year from purchase. Started to leak. Will stick with mechanical opening such as this machine.

I love this machine! I like that you don’t have to wait foe the light to stop flashing, before you hit the brew button! I also love the red it really pops on my counter!

DISCLAIMER: If all you've ever used was either other single serve systems, or cheap quality beans and grinder - this might be a great option for you. My review is based on years upon years of using a very high end coffee bean grinder, with high quality beans roasted within 7-10 days of use. The machine is awesome with regards to convenience. Compared to Keurig machines we've used - there's no comparison, the Nespresso wins hands down. But, compared to a solid burr grinder and manual pour over: The flavor was extremely watered down, and depending on the "cup" often lukewarm at best. I say depending on the cup, because I contacted Nespresso about the lack of temperature in the brewing cycle - to which I was told that a) the difference in temps between brew to cup was an expected 20 degrees, and b) that various blends/cups are designed to be brewed at different temps (remember this thing has a barcode scanner that tells it how to make the coffee, on the bottom of each cup). Additionally, Nespresso has a little bit of a scam going on with regards to the cups. You can only purchase sleeves of 10 to start. Secondarily - there is no return for opened boxes of the 10. So in short, we ordered 5 different sleeves as part of our first order. Based, on what I was told by customer service regarding the temperature and flavor - I opened 3 of the 5 boxes to sample the coffees. Now, I am only able to return 2 of the 5 boxes - at a cost of shipping them back to Nespresso, that makes it not even worth shipping the darn things. So the short of it is that: I purchased essentially 50 cups of coffee from them - but only drank 3, sending back potentially 20, leaving me with throwing away the other 27 cups. If convenience is what you are after - an your experience in "good" coffee goes as far as single-serve machines... this thing is awesome, and you'll probably love this machine! If you are thinking that you are coming from a place of making high quality drip coffee to a more convenient system, with only a small sacrifice in quality to convenience - I'd encourage you to look elsewhere.

Water reservoir leaked. Best buy didn't have any more, so refund was quick and painless.

This cheaply made crap lasted a year and half. I only used it 2-3 times a week. Contacted Nespresso and receive a refurbished one. When through the washing process with water and black gunk was continoulsy coming out after 10 cycles.... Then it broke again. This is garbage.
