The coffee doesn’t come out hot and whatever comes out hot gets cold very fast. I don’t care for having to purchase a cup to keep my coffee could if the espresso was pricey itself.

Waste of Money - Frother does not froth!

It is a little pricey to purchase the capsules, especially if you drink more than 1 cup daily. It adds up to a higher monthly cost. However, it is still much more cost-effective than stopping at Starbucks. I LOVE THE AESTHETICS and how simple it is to use the machine and the milk frother which is essential. Nespresso nailed it with this one.
I would recommend this to a friendBuy one. Starbucks does not want you to do it!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a coffee snob who first cut his teeth drinking coffee in Naples, Italy while stationed there. My first coffee machine was a Tassimo, which made super coffee (as long as you used the correct T-Disks), and passable (admittedly simulated) expresso. I mostly drank the regular coffee, and occasionally drank the expresso drinks. When tassimo was discontinued in the US, I switched to Keurig. The coffee was passable, but nothing like the stuff I could make in my Tassimo. I finally broke down and decided to see what the hype was behind the Nespresso machines (believe it or not, they are the world leader in single serve coffee). I bought this machine, then went to my local Wegmans and bought Starbucks Pike Place and expresso to do a proper testing of this machine. I tried the Pike Place, and it was every bit as good and strong as the stuff they sell at Starbucks. Then I tried the expresso and was dancing with joy. Shocking as it may seem, it's the first time I've ever tasted real espresso made in a single cup coffee machine. This is now my regular go to machine for coffee and expresso. And as soon as I can learn how, I'm going to make my own expresso drinks too.

Well, I finally got the machine, hooked it up and lo and behold it does NOT work with those pods--it doesn't work with ANY alto pod-- only does a 7 oz. coffee. Total bait and switch, and now I'm stuck with basically a useless machine that doesn't make what I bought it for. You guys should reimburse every consumer who bought one of these for false advertising~
