I love this espresso maker! It is really easy to use and clean. I mostly use it to make iced lattes and it has been great for that. I do find the tamp a little difficult because you have to push up instead of down, which makes it hard to get even pressure. The only other thing I would suggest is having some sort of mark to line up the filter handle. I have gotten more used to the position that it goes in after a few uses. Overall, this is a great machine and I am very happy with it!

This is a good quality espresso machine. It makes good coffee and is fairly easy to set up and clean. Only drawback is the shaking and vibrations when making the coffee. The machine should be weighted down on top or your unattended coffee may slip off from the service shelf.

I've owned this machine for almost two years and really like it. Very good quality; just make sure to clean and purge it periodically (as any other). Only complaint would be temperature of the espresso as it is not boiling hot as you would expect, just preference. Recommended.

The DeLonghi EC155 Pump Espresso Maker replaces a similar DeLonghi espresso maker we had for the past 10+ years. Every cup is as good as the last ... rich, deep flavor, lots of creme ... mmm! mmm! mmm! The design has changed just a bit, but the machine is a wonder! Two built-ins we don't use are the steamer spout on the left side of the machine and tamper on the right ... we have hand-held gadgets that are easier to clean and work very well for us. Our former espresso maker had a steamer spout on the right side of the machine ... that was a better location since it didn't interfere with the removal of the basket/handle. The only thing holding back from a 5-Star rating is the position of the steam spout ... to remove the basket/handle, the handle must be turned left and the spout (which can swing a bit) is in the way. I've improvised a make-shift solution ... I tied a string to the steam spout and pulled it to the farthest swing point; the string reaches behind the machine and is tied it to the build-in tamper located on the right side of the machine ... hardly visible ... problem solved. A small compromise for a perfect espresso every time. This machine should last at least 10 years and makes an espresso molto delizioso every time. Great for dinner parties ... one cup at a time.

For the cost you won't find a better deal. Makes good quality espresso and no problem with the foaming wand for milk. But If you have owned a nicer unit you will notice how much longer it takes to heat up between shots and get the espresso made. So i returned this item for a Cuiiinart em200. Going from a better machine back to this one is like going from high speed internet back to dial up. If you only occasionally make a espresso or this is your first one then it'd prob work fine.

after reading reviews by others and their various issues i decided most problems were user created and would give it a try. preheats quickly and it makes good espresso's and has plenty of steam power to froth milk easily. the pucks come out almost dry if loaded and tamped properly, and emptied promptly. my only complaint is in the length of the steam wand, i have to hold and tilt my frothing cup way up there to get the tip of the wand into the milk well and completely.

I purchased this machine and it does make perfect espresso, but there are a few flaws that make this machine not so great: -Plastic housing makes the machine cheap feeling and not sturdy when reapplying the portafilter. -Machines vibrates A LOT and cups do not stay in place. -Space between portafilter and tray where the cups go is EXTEMELY tiny. I have delonghi glass espresso cups that do not fit. -Portafilter is very difficult to reattach to machine - you have to grip the entire machine to get it to turn back into place to make espresso. -Machine is very messy. Overall, this machines makes GREAT espresso, and it's a nice convenience to have at home. The flaws that accompany this machine are what are making me return the machine and buy a bigger one, with easier use.

This espresso maker is hard to beat for the price, it makes a great cup of espresso. It's very easy to use. My only complaint is the height between the nozzles (both the espresso and frother) and bottom of the machine are too short. So you need to use shorter espresso cups and frother cup.

I bought this expresso maker based on reviews and the brand itself. I really like the product. This machine makes a great expresso and it is very easy to clean. I haven't made cappuccinos yet. I also bought the 2-year plan from Best Buy, just in case. I am very happy with this purchase.

I got this for Christmas and I absolutely love it! I've used it every day since I got it, enjoying multiple cups of coffee throughout the day. Sets up in no time and is a cinch to operate, taking very limited counter space. The milk steamer isn't as powerful as industrial size machines, but it gets the job done. A must have for anyone who enjoys espresso drinks. It'll pay for itself before you know it.

I could not be happier with this little machine. It brews a PERFECT cup of espresso. Do not expect it to automatically make you coffee, turn on by itself or make you a sandwich. This is a simple machine with one function that it does very well. The pods breakdown for easy to clean access to the hard-to-reach parts. The removable water container is very beneficial for filling and holds a good amount of water. Overall, this is a very simple machine but works. This machine outperforms my previous Breville!

The machine makes a good cup of espresso. However, the one downside is the lack of space to froth the milk. However, if you want some good espresso from a 15 bar pump machine, you really can't go too wrong.

We have a very expensive machine that is being serviced and needed something to replace it in a hurry. This machine is incredible. The directions are easy to follow and all you need to do is practice if you are not happy with your results at first. This foams so great that stiff peaks form in the fat free milk. It is worth more than the money we paid and we have saved more than that by now. Use the proper size items and you won't have any problems LOVE IT!

This Delonghi Pump Espresso maker makes a wonderful cappuccino. I bought this espresso maker based on many internet reviews, for the price you can't beat this machine. I would recommend buying a different coffee tamper, the one attached is not practical, just like most reviews said. Also the space for a coffee cup is small, I use a 10oz size and it fits well. It took me about five tries to make the cappuccino just the way I like it. It helps to follow the instructions! In no time you will have a cappuccino the you can be proud of.

I have purchased DeLonghi - Pump Espresso Maker - Silver a month ago, so far works excellent. Very happy with my purchase. Had the same model for over than 6 years. Hope that this one would lasts for couple of years.

Had it for three months now. Have been using it 2-4 times a day. Works perfectly. Makes a wonderful espresso. The frother is a little weak but for $80 who cares still manages to make a nice cappuccino. Just make sure you use espresso ground coffee; Illy is wonderful! A+++.

This will make my 3rd. They don't last a year. Got a Geek Squad warranty this time. It makes a good cup of coffee, I use an old 4 cup espresso craft and it fits well in the confined space.

I did alot of research prior to ordering this espresso maker. I tried to watch my money I spent on coffee every week. This has helped although took awhile for me to get comfortable with it. The directions did not help. The two negative aspects of this machine is the frother is not as high as i would like. I tend to spill it my drink because I have to tilt the machine back to removed my cup. The second thing is there is not much room between where the espresso comes out and the base of the the machine. If you have the shot glasses then it is no problem but a mug doesnt fit so I end up putting a little dish. Overall for a beginner I would recommend it but if you are picky with your espresso I would not.

We normally frequent coffee houses for espresso drinks, but the De'Longhi Manual Espresso Machine is super easy and convenient to use. We’ve been able to replicate some of our favorite drinks in the comfort of our home. The instructions were very easy to follow, which helped make a task that I’d normally not take on very easy to do. The frothed is super convenient too. My only concern was having to use very small espresso cups to transfer the espresso to a coffee cup. It would be nice to be able to fit a larger cup underneath.

I bought this espresso machine 4 months ago and I could say that this was a very good investment. :) Since the first day I have it I make espressos every day, at least twice a day. The coffee comes nice and strong. I normally use the Lavazza Aroma Creme ( or something like that...). Just an excellent little gadget. :)
