Awesome addition to my kitchen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never write reviews, but this is my favorite new item. The milk steamer whips up a creamy froth and the espresso (I used Lavazza) is incredibly smooth. I could drink cappuccinos all night!

Great product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This espresso machine is great, especially for the price. No need to go to Starbucks anymore. I've found some great syrups (Davinnci brand) that help me make great white chocolate mochas as well as regular mochas. Make sure to fully read through the directions. I'm really enjoying this machine!

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start by saying for 3 months after I purchased the machine it worked perfectly I was able to brew a double shot every morning. However it slowly started to take longer and longer to brew and before I knew it it was taking as long as 10 minutes to brew a double shot. Now i know the filters get clogged n the machine needs to be descaled and all that to keep it functioning. I complied with the latter even tried to use the single shot filter that I never used before and it still took about 10 minutes to even get a single shot. I of course call Delonghi customer service and nothing was done.. This is how the convo went Well let's troubleshoot .. Twist the knob at the bottom of the filter to loosen it up and open the holes.. I obliged While it is running scrape the broiler unit.. against my own good judgement I obliged and even was burned a bit from the hot water dripping out :/ Let's do a video call and we can see what you are doing and how the machine runs.. creepy but I obliged. Run thru with just water.. oh your machine is working it's pushing water out so that works... well yes but when you add the espresso it doesn't really push thru. Oh well turn the frother knob and turn the knob to the cup position before use to remove air then fill it half way only with coffee and tamp just a bit. .. so to get espresso I have to knock 3 times shake the machine a bit add some MacGyver sht to it to brew a double shot?!? In what world does that make sense?? I should be able to simply turn the machine to heat wait for that little green light to come on and then brew. But nonetheless I m not able to do that and if I would like to enjoy a cup I will have to be MacGyver as Dehlongi refuses to even send the machine to a service center or do anything at all to help their customer. They have very little concern or care for their customers. Find any other brand of espresso machine. I'd even recommend spending a little bit more to get better quality. As you will not get much bang or longevity for your buck with this machine.

Great value for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this espresso machine a week ago and I'm amazed by the espresso it makes; it comes with a lot of foam on top and all you gotta do is follow the instructions.

Cut down cost of lattes!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great with grounds or pods! But have to use a small bowel to catch the espresso and then transfer it to another cup because I can't find a cup short enough to fit.... And it didn't come with any cups.

This.is.the.WORST
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had high hopes for this machine. After unpacking it and setting it up, it took a little bit to decifer the instructions which I found to not be very helpful (at all!) - The pump (pretty sure that's what it's called) is extremely difficult to turn to the lock mode. This is a hard stop for me. Anyone with arthritis should be aware that this is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to turn to the lock position. Ran it first with just water as instructed. I walked away assuming it would automatically shut off after the brew was finished. Sadly, I didn't not realize that you actually had to shut it off to stop the brew (instructions did not say this) So when I came back there was water all over the counter and down on the floor. After running the water through, I stayed put and brewed it with the coffee. It was ok, just ok. My coffee make restitution makes better coffee with the espresso beans I freshly grind. I didn't use he frothing devise, so I cannot comment on that. Assessment is that this machine has incomplete instructions, the pump is hard to lock, and it doesn't automatically shut off. This is getting returned tomorrow. This may be the worst purchase ever.

Noisy and inconvenient
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this unit as a wedding gift and was there when my friends "attempted" to make their first cup of espresso. They followed the instructions for first use preparations and when they turned it on, it vibrated so hard it started moving across the counter. Then when they tried to make coffee, it was discovered none of the small coffee cups they had (sorry, no demitasse cups) would fit under either the steamer or the espresso head. To fully make this a completely horrible wedding present, BestBuy would not take it back because it had been opened.

Just what was needed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this product for my mother as a gift. My father loves his Cuban coffee with milk and my mother prefers cappuccinos. This machine was just perfect for the occasion. Great brand!

Barely Decent Espresso
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this relatively inexpensive espresso machine for my wife as an Easter present surprise. It was highly rated here and in other websites. But, it had mixed reviews in others. Well, the frothing bar is too low to the shelf to be useful and produces weak foam (bubbles are too large). Espresso is weak (not inky) compared to my ancient and broken down Krups machine. The crema is minimal. It is barely espresso. And, the residual used grinds are soaking wet (puddled water) so as to make cleanup a real messy chore. I am returning this thing today.

Acceptable espresso machine
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would use this espresso machine only as a temporary solution. If you want to get a great expresso, buy something more solid and expensive.

bad product - look for something else
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It lasted for five months then died. Descaling (once a month, 3-4 cups daily) was a nightmare as it overheated. In regular can't make more than two cups in a row. Surprisingly, Best Buy replaced with new (wished I took a refund). Second worked for half a year and died. Bad customer service. Bought the Mr. Coffee Barista, a little embarrassing I even had the DeLonghi EC155 (limited by para. length -can't give more detail).
