This espresso maker can produce lots of crema and is one of the best makers I've ever used. It easily competes with much more expensive machines. Makes one or two espressos at a time. Handle gripping device for holding the coffee holder in place is a bit strange and could use some improvement. Nothing else to say but overall it's wonderful!

This machine makes a great pull w/ awesome crema. However the portafilter is HALF the size of normal so the "double" is really a single. Also, it's a pain to clean as the portafilter consists of five separate parts not counting the handle itself. I would happily sacrifice the crema in exchange for easier cleaning. In addition, I use a knock-box to empty the portafilter and that's a royal pain as the filter basket fits loose in the holder and I can't hold the filter in and knock it on the box at the same time. Thus it takes two hands to empty the filter. One to hold the handle and one to hold the filter in when I lift the handle again. Very inefficient. I'm looking forward to getting my previous machine serviced and working again. As to others' complaints of their cups vibrating out from under the nozzle; I solved that by inserting a couple of small nuts and bolts in the drain tray strategically placed to block the cup from moving. Putting a rubber base on your cup would likely also work.

It is a nice machine but the instructions could use some work. I had to figure it out myself because the instructions are very hard to follow. It does work great and does what you need it too.

We had one of these in the past, but we got a "nicer" (more expensive) one so we brought the old DeLonghi to use at the summer camp where my wife and I spend a lot of the summer. The "nicer" one seemed to get clogged and we tried cleaning it but to no avail, so when I saw this at Best Buy I grabbed it. It works great, nice frothing and crema, and only $100.

I have to say that this Espresso maker is incredibly good at it's price point. It gives a great crema, intense and smooth coffee. It performs really well with different brands of coffee, even with a range of ground grain size. If you want to get a superb shot, do yourself a favor and buy the ground Illy coffee (red version).

Works well for what I need, it does take time to warm up and you have to keep an eye on the green light indicator to use for espresso because it will turn off before filling the shots to desired level. Milk frother works well but you have to purchase your own silver cup as it didn't come with it.

I bought this and owned it for 2 weeks before I took it back and bought a Nespresso. For the money if you really want an espresso machine it is fine but you get what you pay for. The portafilter is the first sore spot with this machine, it does not go on smoothly at all. I literally had to put the machine up to my body to use it as leverage to get the portafilter to close tightly. With the amount of plastic in this machine I could see that leading to breaking very quickly. The other problem I had with it is the coffee never came out very hot whereas with my Nespresso it always comes out between 140 degrees to 157 degrees, this coffee was never near that.

Great machine at great price. Of course I would love machine that grinds the coffee beans, but I don’t want to spend that kind of money.

I bought this machine to make cafe au lait and also my other espresso concoctions and it works like a champ. Beautiful creme/foam head every time I pull a shot or two. I don't use the milk frother much. It does everything I wanted it to do and it does it well and for that reason I give it a 5 star.

This machine makes a good espresso, and a decent froth. Not the best for making latte art. Has a very short milk frother wand.
