I applaud DeLonghi for producing an affordable espresso maker. However, this machine falls short; quality, slow to heat, and non-intuitive functionality. At best, it’s a decent machine that will require a major learning curve. In my opinion, this shouldn’t be marketed as “barista-quality”. Alternative options for a few more dollars, will provide a better experience, quality espresso, and sturdier build. If you’re looking for something cheap and aren’t overly concerned with espresso distinctiveness, you’ll be fine.

The machine was very loud and vibrated so much that the cup(s) slid off the base and I had to hold them in place while the coffee dispensed. It may be a good product but I believe the one I got was flawed.

Lots of plastic parts and rubber for the frother I paid 99.00 and feel that for the price I should have invested in a better espresso machine
