If you're looking for a machine that's a little fancier and offers more features than your standard coffee maker, this is a great option. The DeLonghi Stilosa is great for making espresso, lattes, and cappuccinos right from your own home. The box includes the machine, measuring scoop, portafilter, single/double filter, and instruction manual. It does not include a cup for milk frothing or a shot glass, so you might invest in one if you plan to froth milk often. The machine itself is about the size of your average coffee maker, so it doesn't take up too much of your counter space. There are 15 bar pump pressures so you have options on your brew. It took me a few times to find my perfect blends and grinds of espresso to use with this machine. I have also worked in a coffee house and with espresso machines before, so I'd recommend doing some research before use, especially with the milk frothing. Once you get your preferred settings down this machine is easy to use and gives a great brew. It's super easy to clean which is always a plus. Overall this is a great option for a more basic espresso maker but a huge step up from other standard coffee machines.

I wanted an espresso machine In addition to the one that I already have. I tried to use this, but it does not shut itself off when two shots have been brewed. So I returned it.

    Great on Taste

This coffee maker is easy to use and figure out and although you can use pods with it its not a keurig where you leave it and come back. I have those and they work great too but I find that using this one the coffee tastes much stronger, and better taste (i like that). It is well made, yes some of the materials like a lot of them are plastic based but it feels solid and functions very well. It isn't the type that you just leave and come back you actually have to make sure you have water in it, and stick around. Do not get me wrong its not rocket science, its a matter of waiting about 20 to 30 seconds for it to be ready and then making the coffee or espresso or latte etc. The froth maker is very easy to use as well and is such a wonderful added touch to the drink. Again like i said its very easy, you just turn it to steam instead of the coffee position. For the price, the taste, ease of operation, well made feel to it I dont think you can go wrong especially if you are on a budget or dont have too much time and want a quick espresso, coffeee, americano etc etc. Two thumbs up!

De'Longhi Stilosa is simply a great espresso machine by all means it not only looks good but it really made a great cup of espresso. Enough to make you feel like you don't have to go out to a local coffee shop for your fix. Stilosa doesn't take up much space on the countertop which is perfect for smaller kitchens; All while looking very sleek and modern in homes. Stilosa is super well built and feels really good controlling the unit. 15-bar pump pressures the best thing about this machine. A double-shot cappuccino taste so good. I can't believe I made something like this but I will definitely cut back on my Starbucks journey. Also, the unit is easy to clean on the fly which I happen to enjoy. I don't find this Espresso maker very easy for beginners at all, It comes with no cups but only a frothing wand. I would recommend learning how to use your espresso maker online; but once you do it gets easier. Did I mention you can use the steamer to make tea as well? which happens to be one of my favorite features. I wouldn't classify this as a professional machine but at the price, it's good for what it is. I do know my family enjoy it and so do I, I love trying new ways to use the espresso maker. Frothing milk within the cup is fun and tasty. If I could give it more stars I would, great job De'Longhi.

I will be honest right off the bat, we hated this unit at first compared to our De'Longhi Dinamica Espresso Machine, it did not give the same results. Once we found that we needed to grind the beans much more than normal coffee ground style. I used my Ninja Bullet and left the beans in there for about 5 minutes to create a super fine powder. That did the trick! Now, we can make fast and easy espresso in the Toy Hauler before we go out and ride. The ease of use is a 4 out of 10. It does not come with a good tamper, we bought a nice one out of stainless with for $39 on another site and it also made a huge difference. Taste is great like it should be, at first it was watery and flavorless until we made the grounds fine. Packaging was great as all De'Longhi products usually are, the machine made it through the shipping process without issue. The modern and compact look with be welcome in any home, guaranteed. Make sure to look here to save money from them coffee shop trips, it is worth the $99 any day of the week.

A Great Machine for its Class

The De'Longhi Stilosa 15 Bar Pump Espresso Machine is a great product for its class - a basic, manual espresso machine. De’Longhi makes amazing pro-level espresso machines, so this comes from a strong lineage. There are a number of features that I appreciate in this model: - The 15 Bar power is great, especially for frothing the milk, which is quick, effective, and powerful. - The removable water tank is a nice touch - The molded space for holding the alternative single-shot cup under the water cover is convenient and thoughtful - It is simple to learn and operate - Being used to an auto espresso machine, I initially was uncertain about the need to manually watch the espresso. However, after getting used to it, I prefer it much more as I can adjust the quantity to match whatever my current desire (mood) is. The results? Great Espresso and Wonderful Lattes!

I'm no barista, but when I use this machine I feel like one! I got this machine to start making my own drinks at home instead of spending so much money every week at coffee shops. I've always been a little intimidated to do it myself. Overall, I'm impressed with this machine. It takes some getting used to, but once you get going its quite easy. I've never had an espresso machine, but I have to say it looks very classy on the counter. I'm happy with this machine, it's so easy to make coffee shop quality drinks once you get the hang of it. The machine itself it quite sturdy and feels like its made to high quality materials, it doesn't feel cheap at all. This espresso machine is a no-frills machine. You can make coffee or espresso, and it has a frother on the side. The price and quality are a perfect combination. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

My 15 year old daughter wanted an espresso maker... For her room. I mean, what 15 year old DOESN'T have an espresso machine in their room, right? Remembering my high school days and how much a solid caffeine kick would have helped me out in the morning, I decided to pick this up when it came available. Glad I did. It's an attractive unit with a nice footprint (especially for a bedroom). It's simple to operate and has a quality feel. It also includes a frother for cappuccino or latte. After a quick training session and a couple of practices, she was barrista'ing like a champ! Easy to use, simple controls and quick. In all, yes, I would recommend it to a friend. That said, I see a mini refrigerator on her whish list next. Oh well, if it helps that GPA, a small investment and well worth it!

This is an absolutely the best 100 bucks I’ve ever spent. I didn’t have a budget for buying a higher end espresso machine so this has been perfect for what I needed. It’s a fantastic starting machine too. I used to get coffee out everyday and spend way to much money every week. But with this I’ve saved a fortune and don’t even desire to purchase coffee from places like Starbucks.

So far this has been a great espresso machine. Easy to use, doesn't take up too much space, build quality is solid and feels like it will last a long time. It makes a great cup of espresso and isn't hard to use, just make sure you read the instructions and get familiar with it first, as the off/on control seems backwards at first. Overall very happy with this espresso machine.

    Pretty, and a fair value

This is a reliable, well-made, basic machine. It *can* brew espresso shots quickly if you set them up properly. They *can* be tasty, hot, and with a nice head of crema (an airy lather of coffee oils). Its portafilter is designed for pre-ground coffee, however. Most of those flavors never left the processing plant - they're back home making Italy more fragrant. To taste them, you need to burr-grind fresh beans. Adding a single-wall portafilter to brew them (mine is Normcore) ain't cheap. But it turns flat bland canned espresso into a vibrant taste experience. And the total cost is still maybe a quarter of what you'd spend on a fully automated Breville. But they're not kidding when they tell you this is a manual machine - as with any instrument, be prepared to spend some time learning to play it. You won't be sorry you did. And you'll still save a bundle.

I love this espresso maker so much! This is my first time ever buying an espresso machine so I literally had no idea how they worked. One quick read over of the directions and I was making delicious drinks in no time! It’s super easy to use and makes great espresso. I literally use the machine and the attached frother every single day to make lattes and mochas. Overall a great purchase!

I'm not a real coffee drinker, but I like a shot or mug every now and then. I drink decaf (yeah decaf espresso..sue me). I will say I own other DeLonghi appliances, so I have/had great hopes that this unit would be pretty good. Well, it is. It's built pretty well even with as much plastic as it has. At this price point, one can't expect a unit with more expensive materials. That said, here we go. I unboxed the unit and it was pretty much ready to go. There are two filter sizes included and a combination tamper and measuring spoon. Once unboxed, I read through the instruction booklet and proceeded to do the first run. I added water to the reservoir, set the dials and place a large pot under the unit. I ran a number of cycles through the machine without coffee to make sure it was rinsed well. I then used my store brand decaf with the shots filter and brewed a shot. The first shot was with cream and stevia, just like I make regular coffee. It tasted great and even for decaf, had a nice little kick. I then tried the cappuccino maker. It works great, just make sure you have that thing in the liquid. My first attempt got coffee and milk all over the counter, wall splash and machine. Hey, it's the first time I've used one...give me a break. So getting that lesson under my belt, I tried again and it does a great job. I enjoyed the second cup while I used a wet rag to wiped down all the mess. If I had any complaints or suggestions about the unit, it would be that like so many other appliances, there isn't a place to store the accessories. Having a cubby or indentation for the tamper/spoon and the extra filter would make this machine complete. Items not stored with the appliance tend to get lost or in a drawer with so many other accessories that one forgets what goes to what. With that said, I'd recommend this to anyone that enjoys a shot of joe in the morning or likes making a nice mug of cappuccino.

This espresso maker is mid. I like that you turn it on to warm it up, and then when it’s ready it makes the espresso quickly. It is the loudest espresso machine I’ve ever owned though. It sounds like an air compressor. I joke that it’s the espresso machine that wakes the whole family up. The sound is super off-putting especially compared to other machines. I’ve had it for a little less than a year and yesterday I went to use it and the espresso wasn’t coming out properly. Like it was clogged or something. Everything looks fine, I don’t know why it’s not working.

I have never had an Espresso machine or used one before but this is so easy! Make Espresso or Cappuccino in just a few minutes. Easy clean-up as well. Comes with both single and double serving cups. Machine is very sturdy, yet easy enough to move around and store when not in use. It also looks great if you want to leave it on the counter all the time. Has a removable water storage making it easy to fill without having to pour water directly into the machine. Steam spout twists/bends easily for access, or to push out of the way when not is use. Super fun machine but also very professional-looking and looks great in the kitchen.
