    Two lemons in a row. Buy something else.

    Pros: I was briefly able to make a nice espresso/cappuccino relatively easily. Cons: The reliability is a serious problem. The machine leaks a lot of water out of the brewing area constantly - you always have to have a bowl under it when it's on. I notified Delonghi when it was under warranty and shared a video with them. To their credit, they promptly replaced it, but it didn't take long for the replacement to show exactly the same problem. The machine just isn't watertight and consistently makes a mess. I've reached out to Delonghi customer service, but they've made it quite clear that as I'm no longer under warranty, they do not consider their inability to produce a reliable machine to be their problem.

    Do Not buy this product, a) it states it's an expresso machine anywhere in Europe expresso 4-6 oz. Not 8 oz cup of coffee B) if you want an actual expresso you have to stand over it and turn it off, do not plan on having a fresh cup of expresso before workC) it's Loud like c47. It's not worth the money! you better off getting an expresso Machine from Hamilton Beach or Mr. BeCoffeee at least those you can walk away from and get ready for work. Ps 2st machine was faulty they resent second both were returned due to same issue I don't have time to baby sit a automatic expresso machine

    Espresso maker only lasts 8 months.

    This was a replacement for a machine I bought in December 2021, that failed after 7 months (July 2022). This one lasted 8 months (April 2023). I called DeLonghi’s cust service. They said the replacement was only warranted for the same period as the original,so it expired in December, 2022. They offered me a 20% discount on another machine. The first one leaked water, cuz the gaskets all failed. This one has a spacer with the portafilter fitting. It fell out and now all the water and coffee pours out. Don’t waste your money. DeLonghi does NOT stand behind its products. They are very poor quality. And when you call customer service they are very nice but do not have the ability to do anything other than a discount. Waste of money.

    Deflated by the People’s Republic

    Well, I was pretty excited to get my machine, but China does NOT disappoint. Reservoir leaked. Water EVERYWHERE. Is it Italian engineering, or Marxist principles at play here? I think it’s the latter. Wish America could manufacture something again. The Italians too. Once engineering powerhouses, our politicians are greased by China. And this is what we get - crappy products. Not blaming Best Buy - they’re stellar!

    Malfunction

    My machine worked well for about a week (once a day use). After a week, the machine starting leaking. A few days later, piece of the plastic base started melting. Was hoping to love this based on all of the positive reviews but definitely not what I expected for the price.

    aweful qc

    On my 2nd unit after the first one failed. works decent. however the porta-filter gets stuck in the handle every time. and i mean STUCK like its glued in and drives me beyond insane. definitely will buy a different brand next time. the build quality is horrible.

    Don’t waste your money

    It is 3 year machine… I have been getting issues where the machine keep brewing coffe even after I rotating the knob to the original position; not to mention that when you turn it on it takes a while for the machine to be ready for brewing. I am currently looking to buy a new machine since after 3 years this one stop working… I used to have an Imusa and worked better than this one. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS MACHINE

    Horribly built/leaks huge quantities of water

    I had this model (an older version, but same model) for 7 years. Bought this one thinking it would be the same thing. It’s not. Horribly built. Started leaking water after two weeks. Very light weight plastic. Very flimsy. Best Buy wouldn’t return it. Delonghi makes you jump through hoops for a warranty claim. Don’t waste your money.
