I have had this product for a little over 3 months. From day 1 there was always some light flashing on the machine indicating some action needed to be taken to get a single cup of coffee. However, I chalked this up to a machine quirk but, enjoyed my coffee and continued to use this testy machine. Next the infuser mechanism got stuck and would have to be reset with multiple actions needed. Now this mechanism is stuck and the drip tray cannot be reinserted. I've tried ALL of the trouble shooting ideas - manufacturer to online videos - to no avail. I am past the return period to the stop. Delonghi would now like me to ship this heavy product back to them for possible repair. I spent almost $400 on this machine which has required almost daily action to get a single cup of coffee. I don't think it's worth getting a repair for it to be returned to have to face the same daily headaches. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT. Note: I typically do not write reviews but, this product makes me want to forewarn any potential buyers.

BROKEN lasted just 2 years

Unfortunately, the machine broke just after two years which was barely outside the warranty. The repair quote was $220 for what appears to be a very common issue with the infuser. It’s a great machine when it works, but there are too many components that can fail, and the company does not seem to stand behind the product.

Good news is coffee is very good. However, this machine makes a huge mess. Already starting to have liqiud under the machine after it brews. Not worth the price. Do not recommend.

The unit has a moving part inside that goes between grinding the beans and the already ground coffee. After trying to make the 3rd cup of coffee, the unit inside that moves, seized up and the unit would no longer power on. We returned for a refund. After reading other reviews, I do not recommend this to anyone.

It is more complicated than it appears. It uses way too much in coffee beans. Hard to get a consistent taste in the coffee. Have to take machine apart to clean nearly every two days. Great concept, just not working with this machine.

Perfect! Easy to use great coffe options. Grinder and bean storage is perfect.

Various settings is a nice feature but the machine constantly is running and tends to jam. The coffee sensor for the coffee dispenser is always showing that it needs to be emptied even though it’s not full.

Such a disappointment

I am on the second machine and it is failing. The machine is messy and has to be cleaned every day. My machine is tripping the breaker when it starts the brew cycle. The first one I purchased did the same thing. The warranty process takes weeks if you use Delonghi. AVOID this product!!

Absolutely horrible!!! DeLong customer service is absolutely horrible. This coffee pot worked for less than a month. Complete junk trying to get it fixed from DeLonghi. What a joke if you know what’s good for you leave this thing right where it’s at it’s a piece of garbage.!
