Its pretty bad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this in march it sounds good and is easy to set up but the I pod controls leave a lot to desire while trying to play the I pod the receiver causes the I pod to freeze up and reset and sometimes it wont even recognize the I pod at all it says no connection and when it does work you push the skip forward button and it takes almost 30 seconds to skip to the next song you hit the back button and it changes modes and goes to the online music menu I should have paid a little more for a better brand

Don't Buy Stopped Working At 4 Months,
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't spend your money on this over priced piece of garbage. Stopped working after 4 months. The unit came on but I couldn't see my picture and the sound was gone. I called support and they tried to blame the problem on Comcast. Denon Support told me to call Comcast and adjust the signal because Comcast signal was causing the problem. That didn;t make sense because my TV worked with the cable going directly into the Denon receiver. Called support three times before they admitted the box was defective. So they sent me an email telling me to get it fixed locally. Only problem is they have no service place in Boston. nearest place is in CT and NJ. And now I have to ship it at my cost. A $500 receiver!! I am so angry. This is my first and last Denon product.

Not very good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this to go with the new 4K tv we bought. It was a replacement for an Onkyo that was old but still worked. It was purchased on 11/27/15 so not even 4 months old and it has stopped working. It would come on and then shut off. That is not the only problem we had with it. When my son watched a star wars movie and one of the fighters would fly by it would shut the movie off completely. I just took it back to Best Buy because as i said it died completely and was told it had to be sent away and won't be back for at least 2 weeks. Should have bought a different brand, sooo not happy.

works good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't tested all the features but so far good and working without problems. Built in air-play is a good feature.

Good at everything but networking
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm pleased with every aspect of this AVR except the networking which is intermittent at best. Every few days I have to do a complete reset to get the WIFI or Wired networking to work again so I can listen to internet radio and music. It works for a while and then stops. I use this feature a lot and am very disappointed in it.

Terrible build quality - best sound ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved this thing for the first months, sounded way better than previous Yamaha, hammered harder, better movies, and on and on. Then, once a month it had issues, then twice a month. The only way to fix issues was to disconnect everything and reset. Then the HDMI port broke. Swapped HDMI and it worked for another month and now it is a boat anchor that turns it self on and off for hours... or I pay $45 for shipping to "look at" the problem. The internet says there is are notorious issues Denons having this issue. So I am paying $45 for shipping and hopefully they will fix it. Go with Onkyo.
