Good for Advanced Users

Also wanted 2 Zones to play audio in whole house when needed. The configuration instructions were extremely complex and convoluted. It took 2 weeks to figure out how to get both Sound and video at the same time. This is not for the average user unless you are willing to spend the time and replace most of your old analog devices. If you are an experienced audiophile AND you have all new digital devices to connect it will be a bit easier. Playing audio and video on your TV should not require a degree in electronics. The system has a good menu process that guides you through some of the settings. However, for those that want Device A to play in Zone 1 and/or Zone 2 should have a simplified setup process to just make it happen w/o having to guess at the multiple configurations that are not explained at all. Bottom line: unless you have the equipment and the ears to differentiate the +6 different Dolby settings, digital, analog and whatever, this receiver is massive overkill.
