This home theater receiver works as intended. We would purchase again.

This receiver replaced my older Denon receiver from 2009 that broke (hdmi switching failed). Was torn between this model and the next one up, but got this receiver on the cheap via a price match. So far the receiver has performed well. One nice improvement from my older Denon was when the Audyssey calibration pointed out two of my speakers were out of phase (I had the wires swapped). Another new feature for me is network connectivity with on-line services like Pandora, though I don't use that much, since I have a Chromecast Audio plugged in (I wish the receiver had built-in Chromecast support). The receiver "hung" on me once while I was messing the the networking, but unplugging and plugging it back in fixed that. I don't have a 4K TV nor HDR, so I can't comment on those features. Though maybe I'll upgrade my aging TV next holiday season.

This receiver is a great product. The only downside is that it doesn't up convert component sources, but I knew that when I bought it. Sounds great in the man cave!

Great receiver! This has all the options and power I need. Setup was a breeze and I especially like how easy it was to tune the speakers with the mic. I ran into 1 snag the other day where the music and other sounds were much louder than the voices when I was watching a movie. I realized in the audio setting I can adjust the dialogue volume which fixed the issue. The wireless addition is a great touch since I prefer to stream my music from my phone or iPad. I would highly recommend this product.

Was setting up a 7.2 system and de used to go with this one instead of a Sony that was $150 cheaper, I am very glad I did because the ease of use and layout of everything is so much better than other ones I've used

For home theater in a small room or house, this Denon delivers. Using the AVR’s setup program makes it easy. The program asks all the right questions and allows user to adjust sound to your specific needs.

This receiver sounds great. Excellent channel separation giving true surround sound. I love the zone feature that enables me to listen to a different sound source in another room. Effectively I have 2 sound systems for the price of one.

I went throw two surround sound systems before this and I love this one it's load and I can control the music outside and still listen to what I want in garage

this receiver was really easy to setup and has worked great for me. i previously had a pioneer elite that had died and geek squad reimbursed me to buy a new one. i went with this unit and couldn't be happier!

I had to return the first one I received as the hdmi Jack was defective. The second one works like a charm. The surround sound is fantastic. It replaced a 4 year old Harmon Kardon. I would recommend.

Moved up to a Vizio 4k 65 inch flat screen tv. Salesmen recommended this unit. Very easy to hook up surround speakers, Blu-ray player, and tv.

I've been using Denon receivers for the past 15+ years and I haven't been disappointed with them. This unit is no different. Easy to setup. The iPhone app is really easy to setup and use.

This unit was really easy to set up. Was easy to program into a universal remote and integrate into the home theatre. The remotes it came with is also easy to use. Happy with this purchase.

thought it would be more powerful than it was , still have some tweaking to do. sounds great right out of box. half volume level is plenty for 16x20 room, just dont think i should half to go that high

Easy setup out of the box. Audio/Video connections through HDMI have great quality. Literally plugged up cable box through receiver into TV in less than 5 minutes and was good to go

I needed an upgrade from my pioneer I bought when Clinton was in office. So much more to receivers now. Like the Bluetooth, Sirius through the receiver. Definitely worth the cost.

This can do all that I needed and wanted. I wouldn't go the next level up.

What can I say? This receiver is great. I was really surprised how well it works. When I'm upstairs with the door closed I can hear the system clearly. It is worth every penny.

This system was inexpensive and so easy to install. I love that it came with a way to test the sound of the speakers in my living room in order to maximize the audio experience.

Nice receiver for the money and easy to set up. The wattage is just right and not overpowering. If you have problems you can call denon and they are very good on guiding you on any problems.
