We bought the old model Denon receiver 7 years and decided to update to this new one with bluetouth and wifi capability.It work really well with our Speaker. We love it

I decided to go back to Denon after having an Onkyo receiver which was fine except that Onkyo hemmed and hawed on a recall for defective HDMI connectors. The feature set is pretty rich for a $400 receiver. I like the internet radio capability and the available connections are ample as we paired this AVR with a new Samsung 4K TV purchase. Set-up was a snap with Audessey and the user interface is fairly intuitive. The remote is very basic and feels cheap but you can always go with a universal or use an app on your phone I suppose. I did a lot of research and it came down to price and features between this AVR and similar items from Yamaha, Marantz and Onkyo.

Excellent receiver which has many features not available in my previous system. The wi fi/ blue tooth makes listening to various music sources so much easier.

I bought this as a replacement as my old Yamaha receiver puked after a year and a half. I am so happy with my choice to upgrade to this much powerful receiver

This is a great A/V unit! Easy set up with all of the features I need for my media room. Atmos enabled, WIFI, Bluetooth, etc,, the features are all great.

Upgraded from a 5 year old Pioneer. Why did I wait so long?!? This reciever has such a better sound quality it amazes me every time we watch a movie

Easy set-up - just connect to TV and read the instructions; the receiver does the work. TV and movies sound great, music from iPhone sounds great.

This receiver is a great buy. I really love the multi zone feature. It give you the ability to have the tv running through the stereo inside and the iPod or favorite FM station playing outside. Volume can be adjusted to different levels while both are playing as well.

Excellent receiver! Nice addition to my current setup! The AirPlay feature is a little tricky but I think it's working fine now!

After replacing my receiver with this one due to it not being 4K compatible, this one iseems great & the quality is great.

Easy to setup and use and performs quite well. I upgraded my home theater system with this receiver to prepare for the 4K movement about to come.

I got this receiver after returning my new Sony that had issues switching inputs and recognizing the signals. It's a very good receiver that is easy to use and set up. The only drawback I can see is that you cannot use both TV sound and the surround sound at the same time. That may not matter for most but sometimes I like both or just the TV sound. It was easier to mute the receiver and keep the TV volume vs now needing to go into the menu and switch the audio. Easy for me to understand but frustrating for my wife and daughter.

Great upgrade from my old Denon AVR-1604 I bought over a decade ago! Easy setup with Denon's audio calibration system.

I replaced an older Onkyo with this receiver, and can not believe the difference in the sound. Also love the app control.

Good receiver, good quality you expect from a Denon product. Only complaint full manual instructions must be downloaded.
