For the aficionado; poor performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This receiver has good capability, lots of connection & setup options, but interface between functionality and human intuition is severely lacking. And I continue to have irrational and random connection problems between music, radio, and TV. And switching between zone 1 and 2 is near impossible, or running zone 2 without zone 1... most times I just give up. Sometimes, I have to simply unplug it to get it to shut off! There is no printed manual, and everything is so complicated you have to be an electrical engineer to follow the online manual. I suspect most receivers are similar, but my recommendation.. simply your product, and you’ll sell a lot more!! This one’s not a good product for the average buyer. More for aficionados.

Great sound, but difficult to understand how to s.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed something to run my previous surround sound system, along with TV, DirectTV, Blu-ray, etc. it does all that, but setup and understanding how it all works is hard to do without paper copy of user manual. Sure it’s available via Denon website, but you need a paper copy next to you while you tweak everything till it works correctly.

Great budget receiver

Was able to get it on clearance and it was very well worth it. It has everything you need to have a great home theater experience. Only shortcoming now, is that it does not have hdmi 2.1.

Great entry level unit

It has been a great addition to my entertainment room. Now unfortunately I'm have to upgrade when I get my PS5 since it doesn't support HDMI 2.1.

Great receiver for 4K Audio/Video

Really happy with the audio/video quality supported by this receiver. Huge difference than before.

Negative feedback for how it requires a static UP address in order to link up Bluetooth. This will be difficult for those people out there that are tech challenged.

not purchaser friendly
