Much better than soundbar

Very underwhelmed with the sound range through the soundbar. Purchased a different brand of soundbar, still not getting the full sound we expected. Returned both soundbars. Purchased this receiver and connected our 25 year old Polk Audio speakers and sub-woofer to it and now a very happy customer. Great picture on the TV and quality sound to go with it.

Great receiver

So I replaced it with this. What a great receiver, wireless and now I can stream music from SiriusXm, Pandora and Spotify. Very easy to set up. The only thing that I had to do was update the firmware. Once I did this, it works great.

Maximum improvement over my Onkyo

WIFI/Bluetooth pairing is very easy and enhances my entire entertainment experience. Still, the problem with Pandora exists, but I can be anywhere in my house and use my 8th gen. Nano to change the music genre or album. Upscaling is incredible!! Can't wait to pair it with a new 4K TV in the spring.

Easy to set up and calibrate

Pluses include wifi, Bluetooth, am-fm reception, and XM reception. Be sure to download manual after the easy setup.
