I am so Impressed. It is easy to set up has a ton of functions and tech built in. Love how it has airplay built in, Alexa integration. ARC capabilities is a huge bonus. If you don’t know what that is look it up. Arc works flawless with my Samsung qled. I only have grazed the top of the iceberg and am already blown away. Excited to see what else this thing can do!

I have had this for a little over two weeks and I am very satisfied. I replaced an older model because I needed 4K capability. Set up was easy and the sound is excellent.

Great unit, but major ARC issues.

I love the unit, love the sound, love the extra HDMI port - however - every now and again it decides to completely misbehave witth the 4k PASS THROUGH - mainly the ARC. Many times I have to wait over an hour for the machine to figure out how to do PASS THROUGH on a SONY 76' incch 4K ARC TV and it has made me consider taking the unit back although it doesn't happen often enough - it happens enough that it's a serious issues and takes away what would have certainly been a 5 star review. Also - the remote's a bit light and dinky. Other than that - it's fine. Not the upgrade I was expecting from my 300 dollar Yamaha - the only difference is that this machine has serious 4K ARC pass through issues.

Poor after-sales support unless you buy the BB wty

The amp worked fine after the BB technician installed it. After the return period passed (of course), it started "misbehaving" - I'm assuming it is a software/firmware issue. Specifically, it would not remain on mute, or it would mute all speakers except the subwoofer. Now it does not return to the default settings when I turn off the system, so I have to go finding the correct input to watch TV. I tried a factory reset. Finally I decided to call Denon and ask for help. They directed me to a factory-authorized third party repair company 55 miles away (there are only two in the entire state of TX). I called them. They have one Denon-certified technician who works M-W-F. My unit would have to get in line (I guess they have several defective Denon units) and wait "days, maybe weeks" before it could be diagnosed. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend anyone buy a Denon, or pay for the Best Buy warranty and take it into them to get replaced when it fails.

    Avoid if you use bluetooth

Doesn't actually support bluetooth. If you connect a BT device and it issues a connection the receiver will automatically switch to the BT input. Watching a movie...poof BT. Watching tv...poof BT! They insist this hijacking is perfectly fine and refuse to issue a fix despite having the setting to disable this on their *low end* models.
