Great receiver, easy to use and the Bluetooth is a great feature!

You just can't beat this receiver for the money. I got it for around $250. It sounds great, has on screen display and the self sound set-up worked perfect the first time. You could do a lot worse than this awesome Denon

Great product for an unreliable price. I was looking for a digital AV Receiver/Mixer/Amp to upgrade my old analog one that I only used for audio. With HDMI being the one cable solution for passing both HD audio and video signals, I needed a unit that would allow me to tie in several devices into my home media setup. With it's 5 in 1 out DHMI port configuration, and several additional digital audio input options, I knew that I had found what I was looking for. The Denon AVR-S510BT is awesome!

I had a Denon prior, it was older like me, The new one has many new features that I love, blu tooth, and HDMI connections are just a couple. It also has a overall richer sound than my older one. Very nice upgrade.

Once the system was set up, perfect sound for movies and music.

It does everything I want it to do. Has great crisp sound. Great power. Really you can't go wrong with Denon. Especially at this price range. It's a no brainer.

I was updating my surround sound system to a new set of speakers and a new receiver. My old receiver was not going to be powerful enough to drive the new speakers I purchased. I also wanted a receiver that would calibrate itself and be future proof allowing the pass through of 4K video. I only wanted a 5.1 system and the speakers I have aren't Atmos compatible. All-in-all, this is a great, basic 5.1 receiver. My speakers are sufficiently powered, audio is clear and defined, setup and calibration was super easy and accurate (I didn't have to adjust anything after it self-calibrated), I like that I have two subwoofers hooked up to it now for even more intense bass (I just carried over my old subwoofer), I've used Bluetooth input far more than I thought I would, there are plenty of inputs on the back of the receiver for everything I have and then some, and it works fine with the 1080p, 3D video I throw at it. I currently have an Xbox One, PS4, Apple TV, and cable receiver all hooked up to it with the main video being output to my projector. It's easy to switch between inputs, I experience zero lag, and it properly plays back all HD audio (DTS HD MA and Dolby TruHD). The receiver will even down-mix 7.1 content to 5.1. The version of Dolby Pro Logic is the most up to date and does a good job at "up-scaling" stereo content to 5.1, at least it does a good job for movies. It and DTS Neo do a terrible job when up-scaling for music as I can easily hear audible flaws. That's OK as I really only use Dolby Pro Logic for movies and TV shows, I just set the receiver to Stereo X2 for music. I can't really find a fault in this receiver, not for the price. Sure, there are other, more powerful receivers but they are more expensive. This will easily fit the need of someone who is looking for a more basic, 5.1 receiver that has some bells and whistles but doesn't care about 7.1, Dolby Atmos, or anything else like that. It has paired well with my Bose Acoustimass 10 speakers.

This is a great piece of equipment for the money - terrific sound with the ability to run all components through it. Especially like the Bluetooth capability.

Denon with there set up genie does a good job of helping you.

Great receiver. Great sound, lots of options. Love that there's several 4K hdmi inputs. Bluetooth signal is strong. My receiver is in my second story bedroom, signal is still clear when my phone is in the basement.
