Great starter receiver. The pass through works as intended and the setup mic aids in calibration. Sound output is great across the board, and you can change the input type you want to read, for convenience. Small list of cons, but worth listing: proper 4K Passthrough requires an update via the USB drive--you cannot do it wirelessly. Navigating the menus can be a bit of a pain, a steeper learning curve than necessary. Pros: Simple to set up. Cons: USB Update, Not-So-Easy Learning Curve

Its not a great product but i still like it. Still having trouble trying to get sound from my pc. The box lg surround I had for 7 years worked great , not sure if I need to get a different connecting wire. Over all really good .

I am very happy with this receiver. It was easy to setup and use. The sound quality is great for the price of the receiver.

We use the receiver for everything. From movie night, to music using the Bluetooth, to karaoke night as well. It's quality.

From what I could tell from other reviewers, they either received "lemons" or did not know how to hook up their receivers properly. So, if you want to avoid either problem, purchase the extended warranty (which would give you a NEW product if the one you bought could not be repaired) and have a Geek Squad associate come to your home to hook it up. I did, and it was well worth the cost. The receiver is better than the Denon receiver I bought in 2003, and is going strong.

My Onkyo died on me, which made me sad. Luckily I found this little beauty! Much more flexible controls, Bluetooth is a nice feature. I really like it, but I'll tell you the cons: Switching between inputs is a tad slow, in my opinion. The phone remote control app is not so good. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Customising isn't very intuitive. I might have to actually read the manual to turn off on-screen volume display. There ya go! that's the only things I can find wrong with it.

This unit has plenty of power to drive my Klipsch speakers and is simple and straight forward to set up and operate.

The Bluetooth feature is awesome. I connect my iPhone through Bluetooth and use internet radio. Sound is great!!

Picked this receiver up on clearance sale for outdoor patio sound system build. Pros: Works fantastic for our setup. Has dual subwoofer outputs. Easy installation and setup menus. Cons: Wish it had dual hdmi outputs but for the price I couldn't turn it down. Also wish it didn't have the spring loaded connectors on rear of unit. Would have expected a more robust connector. Best Buy protection plan even covers the unit from humidity! No brainer purchase.

I was not sure of what brand to get for a receiver, I own a Yamaha for my Bose and wanted to replace my Harmon Kardan for my Bowers &wilkins, a gave Denon a shot, and boy I'm a happy I did, I love it.

For the money this receiver absolutely does the job. My old receiver was a Harmon Kardon as was the before it. I couldn't lay out a lot of money so having read some reviews on this receiver I choose it. I could not be more pleased with the sound and the quality of the sound. Very crisp. The ranges are very clear and distinct. I don't care about the Bluetooth abilities as I don't use that so I cannot comment on that. Very satisfied.

Entertaining, great color, but the over $3,000 cost was too high. After the $3,000 purchase price, you were selling the same TV model for $1,600. The Denon receiver is fine but had no printed instructions. For instance there is no instruction on how to adjust the receiver in order to play a compact dist. The manual instructed me to download this procedure on my computer. However, I don't have a printer, so I'm out of luck.t of luck.Thanks!

This is my 3rd Denon, 2nd upgrade. My 5.1 speakers function perfectly and the pass through for the 4K programming from DirecTV is picture perfect. The pass through also allows 3D programming from DirecTV. Denon volume was easily accessed with satellite remote. Denon has enough watt punch to rattle the walls with audio clarity. I am pleased with my new Denon.

Great sound. Plenty of HDMI inputs. Easy to set up and switch between inputs. Best receiver I have owned.

Receiver has many functional options and allows you to have the full surround sound at a great price.

Not as easy to make work as originally was told but what ever is? up and running, 2 total wires instead of 40! Technology has come a long way!
