Took item back. It kept going into protection mode. Returned it for A Pioneer Elite which has been working flawlessly. First ever purchase of a Denon product recommended by Best Buy employee, upon return the Best Buy employee stated that there is lots of problems with model.

This unit has plenty of power for our needs. Music and movies both sound great. The self-equalizing mic seems to have worked surprisingly well. Two HDMI inputs do not work properly, but enough did.

My old pioneer receiver died and I decided to try a Denon receiver after doing some research. What a great decision!!!! Once everything was hooked up it made the speakers & sub sound great.

I love the ability to stream music from my phone and the great sound of Denon. Blu-ray movies also sound great! Another great Denon product.

This is my second Denon receiver,and I still have the first,just moved it to the bedroom and put this upgraded one in the den for the family,these are great receivers at a great price

I was after a well priced/reasonable performance amplifier for my family room. This unit does not disappoint and the pass through HDMI means no more switching cables all of the time.

I really like the receiver but it doesn't seem to be as loud as the previous receiver I had. But all in all I am happy with it so far.

Connected this receiver to my 4K HDTV, and to a 5:1 surround sound system. Sound quality is exceptional for the room the system is in.

I've spent more in the past for less options. If you just need something with HDMI to connect components then this unit will work fine.

The reason I bought this unit was the off power pass through. It is big enough for my small living room and it has enough inputs for all the items I needed to plug in.

Works much better than my last receiver and has 4k pass through, great picture quality. The sound is great, and the auto set-up function makes getting the best sound easy.

Great receiver, love the amount of inputs and 4k capability. Easy to use and setup and works great with my Harmony remote.

I enjoyed playing the Captain Toad games in Mario 3D world so I looked forward to playing Captain Toad. However, it does start to feel repetitive after awhile of playing it.

I purchased this as an upgrade to an older model Denon. This unit is awesome and I know I will have it for years to come.

Could not be happier with this receiver. For my needs it did all that I need. Was not looking for 7.1 or 7.2 but was really wanting 5.2. This one fit the bill perfectly!

so far, this receiver has been an excellent choice for my video system, which also would work fine for my audio system.

Had a Sony home theater receiver before and it was terrible. This Denon is easy to set up, responds quickly to source changes and is so much better than Sony.

Sorry to say but this receiver has been hardly used at all in the 1 1/2 years I have had it, so this is probably only the 20+ time I ever used it and it started smoking. I believe the power transistor is failing. If yu buy this, make sure you get the Best Buy insurance because I have to go through the manufacturer to get a repair done even though they do give you a 2 year warranty. It is only a factory warranty. I respect the Denon brand products, I just got a dud.....

Hello everyone, how can I describe this surround sound in one word ? (Amazing). The 4K pass thru works just fine and with different settings this is just amazing.

After Determing the unit is not working properly, the manufacturer had me to exchange it at the store. It took several calls to Denon tech support to get the unit connected then I was finally able to access the onscreen assistant. It guided me through checking out my surround sound speakers but that's as far as it went so I called tech support again. It was then determined that I need to contact the TV manufacturer to ask how to get the sound to come through the receiver/speakers. Very frustrating.
