Thus far I only have my receiver connected to my newly purchased Smart TV. I absolutely need to connect to a blu-ray, game system and perhaps wireless speakers so that I can start using other aspects of this system.

I purchased an AVRX2000 receiver in 2013. In 2017 the HDMI card went out. I called both local repair centers mentioned on the Denon Website and was told that they only service product purchased from their stores. Best Buy Geek Squad was not able to service the unit and had me send the product back to Denon. Denon does not have in house personnel for repairs and warranty work but instead uses a third party for any repairs. They charge a $60 non-refundable fee for even the most basic evaluation. Incidentally, it costs around $100 to ship the unit to the third party repair house in New Jersey. When the unit arrived in New Jersey, I received an email that the HDMI card was no longer available from Denon so the receiver could not be serviced. I was then asked if I would like to pay an additional $52 to have the unit sent back to me. I would like other customers to know what my experience with Denon was like after the Warranty had expired. Not saying this is their normal practice but my service experience was very poor with Denon as a company.

this is great i connected my direct tv my 3D B-ray my pc home theater speakers system, to my tv and my projector since it has two HDMI OUT puts, so i dont need any adapter or to switch the hdmi cable to the tv box, i can watch both if i want tv and the projector at the same time, or two tvs, thats also nice, the audio sound is so great nice and clear and also i love it the bluetooth and the Apple AirPlay is also great you can play your music from your iphone or apple tablet, for me its a great experience and of course we love it, i really recommend it this one special if you have a projector or if you want a second tv or monitor to split it in two screens, and for everything you want to used it is amazing... don't think twice just get it for the price you pay you not gonna be regret ...

I purchased this AVR for features and the good sound created by Audessey. It was easy to setup and a joy to operate. Occasionally I would lose Album Art when using Heos. I would have to perform a restart each time to get it back. I'm connected either by Ethernet or WiFi no advantage either way. The onboard diagnostics show all is working. Second issue is when selecting Heos, it would report "no network". Perform restart to correct. This gets old after a while.

Doesn't actually support bluetooth. If you connect a BT device and it issues a connection the receiver will automatically switch to the BT input. Watching a movie...poof BT. Watching tv...poof BT! They insist this hijacking is perfectly fine and refuse to issue a fix despite having the setting to disable this on their *low end* models.
