    Worked great right after I bought it. Setup was pretty easy. Then I changed the layout of my speakers and wanted to run setup again. I reset the settings, but I get neverending Loading... when I try to run set up. I tried a factory reset. I let it go for 8 hours and it did not work. I called the support number but they could not help. No service center anywhere near me, so I will have to ship it for service, even though I have only had it a few months.

    This is the biggest piece of junk I’ve ever bought. It freezes up won’t recognize Bluetooth and overall sounds like crap. Don’t buy this or you’ll be disappointed.

    We call it the Demon in stead of the Denon. We hate it so bad and were just going to give it a chance because we thought we'd get used to it, now we can't return it and I want to throw it out the window. It doesn't matter if you go thru the exact same motions to turn everything on one night, it may or may not (mostly may not) work the next night. And if it decides to run sound thru the TV instead, good luck figuring that out!! I wouldn't recommend this to a friend OR enemy!

    I spent all the time to get it set up, for the front display to display gibberish and was no longer functional. I wanted a Yamaha and the sales person told me this was higher quality. Sure didn't seem like it. Went with a different Receiver instead.

    Got it home and hooked everything up. Ran through the setup and thought it was all set. Yet the sub wouldn’t play. Decided to troubleshoot the next day. Then realized nothing worked. Played with it for an hour and nothing.

    Can't use Alexa for switching between HDMI inputs

    Overall this is a fine reviever, except it does not support switching between HDMI inputs as the Bestbuy sales associate told me. It supports switching between 1 HDMI input (CBL/SAT) and 3 analog inputs only! This is an important feature to me as I have both a cable box and FireTv. This was determined after numerous emails back and forth with Denon support. I believe Denon support is located offshore as it was clear the person I was communicating with was someone whose English was not their native language. Denon support was very frustrating for this reason.

    Loaded with SW and FW issues

    When it works, it’s great. First FW update broke it. Restored FW to Factory settings and 2 weeks later, now network (WiFi/Bluetooth) and setups don’t work. It’s extremely frustrating. If Denon cust service doesn’t help out when I call tomorrow, this thing is going back.
