I updated because my recent purchase Pioneer stereo that I was excited to use failed to drive powered sub. My Klipsch reference sub was flat and not working at all. I upgraded to the Denon and now they are driving as I was expecting. Highly suggest giving this unit a try to fulfill you home audio needs.

This thing rocks! Weather watching movies or simply playing music from my phone (Bluetooth enabled) it is easy to use and has about 10 sound modes and custom settings.

Denon Receiver

Really can't complain about the shelf life. Pick up this upgraded Denon receiver, very nice! Very easy to use. My only complain / issue is this recever remote cannot mate up to my DVR, so I have to use 2 remotes. I feel like I'm back in the 80s or 90s, LOL.

Does everything I need at a reasonable price.

As someone who was finally upgrading from an older non-HDMI system, I'm still a little giddy about the fact that it will turn on/off automatically with the TV, automatically select the correct input, and control volume with the TV remote. :)
