    This replaces an identical unit that failed after 7 or 8 year. The Greek Squad said to buy another just like it. Works great so far

    This is my second purchase of this particular receiver. I have enjoyed the first so much that when I needed a receiver to pair with a new TV in the vacation home I got another one. This receiver provides all the basics that you may be looking for. I appreciate the ability to control the receiver volume levels through the TV remote when you take advantage of the HDMI ARC connection.

    If you have some speakers this AVR will rock your sound in all media connections . I am impressed with its ease of set-up . This Denon receiver also has pass through so for instance I can turn on my tv and cable system and the sound automatically comes from the tv . Then when I turn on the receiver the sound automatically comes from the receiver . And the 5.2 system means I can have one or two subwoofers .
