Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to deal with the auto-turn on issue I was having with the comparable Sony 5.2 model (Turns out disabling CEC on TV solves this, by the way), and was super disappointed in overall sound quality. Weaker overall than the Sony, weaker per channel and caused excessive subwoofer hum. I knew within 30m of having it on, I was taking it back. Disappointing because Denon was highly recommended, but just didn't do it for me. I watched a string of Marvel movies with it, and listened to a variety of EDM tracks, including tracks I had listened to previously with the Sony and the lack of volume was disturbing. Just get the Sony at this price point.

Posted .We're very sorry for the poor experience. The S540BT is our entry level model, so you may want to try a model with more power like the S750H or S960H.
