This new system is amazing. It was recommended by my brother as he had one as well and I was disappointed. The customer service was great and it arrived quickly than I thought it would.

I have been enjoying this receiver for the last two years now. Works well with my Klipsch 5.1 surround sound. I love the BT connectivity.

Does great with new tv and equipment. But, when connecting to VHS player and Blu-Ray DVD only sound it heard video doesn’t appear. Trying to research how to get video but nothing yet.

While we are still happy with our overall purchase. We were very disappointed that there was no owner's manual included. I don't always want to download an app for everything I purchase to be able to completely set up. While I was able to figure out most of the operations without instruction from past experience, this has some features that I am not familiar with. Bluetooth could be easier to connect as pairing was a bit of a pain, but again this is where an owner's manual or even a simple one page quick start guide would be extremely useful. The quality has been great so far.

NEEDED A RECEIVER TO REPLACE AN OLD SANSUI. RECOMMENDED BY SALESMAN OVER A SIMILAR YAMAHA. TOOK SOME TIME TO SET UP. FAIR RECEPTION, BUT NOT AS GOOD AS MY OLD RECEIVER.

This is the 3rd one that I have bought for my home in the past 10 yrs or so, to use throughout the home. What great product, and the staff and help that I always receive is wonderful

The Onkyo i had crapped out after a year. Screw that company. I grew up on Denon and the Onkyo was affordable at the time, but it sucked and broke. I'll never make that mistake again! Always Denon!!!

2nd one purchased so you know I love it. Only con to me is you have to hook to tv to set speakers. This one was for outside speakers only.

I can't believe all of the features this Denon AVR-S540BT receiver gives you for the money? I only wish that it provided RCA "Audio Line Out" signals, but it doesn't?

This is a good value for your money 2 subwoofer out will give you bass you needed. Plus a Bluetooth connectivity easy to connect with my smartphone.

Great value on this product. I was tempted to buy name brand but glad I didn't. This receiver has simplified my entertainment needs. Great sound output and easy to use/navigate.

Have had this AVR for approximately 1 year and the video monitor hdmi output is no longer functioning. The AVR was used as the central video controller for my satellite and Blu-ray player and was hooked to a 50” Samsung and JBL speaker system. The audio still performs well. The failure is surprising given that I bought this based on the similar earlier model (500 BT) I have been using since 2016 and the normal high quality standards of Denon AVRs

I needed a receiver that had a coaxial cable connection for the FM radio antenna, this allowed me to receive the signals from my outside antenna. This receiver had that. AM reception not very good.

I already owned a Denon receiver but it did not fit my new wall unit cabinet because it was too tall. I purchased this receiver and the smaller scale fit perfectly without compromising on the features.

I bought this unit to replace a dead Onkyo unit. I’m pretty happy with it so far. The only downside is that only a few of the hdmi ports are 4k.

great value for options on it, have a bit of trouble with smart tv with Netflix or other apps playing back to amp thru hdmi, amp keeps telling tv to go back to speaker on tv but may be able to work it out easy set up

I am very pleased with this receiver, however it is not people friendly as my Onkyo, in terms of easy access to spotify and other like stations. Overall a nice receiver, as noted so far so good.

Although we are not keeping this product ( I purchased the wrong one!) your sales team including Darren and Chris were very helpful a d informative!

Needed a receiver for another room in the house and chose this Denon receiver since it's cost efficient and supported all the devices I needed. Highly recommend Denon products.
